Hi,

I mistakenly bought an ego-t type a atomizer (cone style) for dripping/testing flavors thinking it was like a regular 510 atomizer and my drip tips would fit...needless to say the only way to drip w/ it is to remove the little clear mouthpiece that came w/ it. It's not a big deal but besides not being able to drip direct, the mouthpiece also has crappy air flow, so my question is does anyone know a quick mod to fit a standard 510 drip tip onto a cone style ego-t atomizer? If not should I just cut the mouthpiece in half thereby eliminating the top half (which restricts airflow)? Failing those 2 options is it a bad idea to just leave the mouthpiece off altogether and hit directly from the cone? Any advice would be appreciated.

Why don't you just use the little tanks that fit on the atty to test liquid? You can rinse them out.

That's what I'm doing now, I guess the real problem I have is the airflow u get w/ the tank/mouthpiece sucks...I get much more throat hit/vapor when using a carto. I'm thinking of just removing it altogether and hitting directly from the cone but I'm afraid it might get too hot - plus the hole is huge so idk...

Do that a lot and we'll have to call you "Hot Lips" Houlihan :)

A guy I know uses the type B for dripping and didn't mod the tank, actually he pulls the tank and adds Menthol Burst to the atomizer to supplement the flavor in the tank. I use the type B for sampling flavors as is.

yea decided against that lol - gonna find a way to increase the airflow and it should be fine. Maybe enlarge the holes or something. Thanks for the help.

You can bore out the hole some, the tanks on the ecab which is a smaller style like that has bigger holes.

The other thing you can do is fiddle with the wick on the atomizer. You can push it down or pull it up to change the juice flow, there is a youtube video I saw that explained it. Did it to mine and they worked better after that.

You can use the 510 atty with a drip shield and 510 to 510 (no hole) adapter to keep the mess down.

thats a cool set up, mine is almost exactly identical, but i have the cone instead of the shield. and where my drip tip fits in, there wasnt enough air flow there. so my drip tip was kind of sealing off the top. so between those style lines in the shield, i used a dremel and sliced a little hole into it. now it works fantastic! i also drilled out the vent holes just above the threads on my atty. this seemed to help quite a bit. i get huge plumes of 'smoke'. the flavor is great too. i just drip a few drops at a time into the atty
