eGo-T users: Do you "line up the grooves"?

Hi all... going on my 3rd day with the eGo-T. So far, only good experiences.

Anyway, whenever I insert a tank into the atty, I like to line up the grooves to match the "side holes" inside the atty. It feels like I get more TH. I've seen a few YouTube videos where people do the same and others say it doesn't really matter.

What are your thoughts on this?

I did because that's what I read here. I don't know if it matters or not. My only issue is when I do that it doesn't line up properly- the button is sort of on the side.

both my wife and I lined up the grooves every time and after a month of use we have had zero problems.

I am not saying it is required, but why mess with a good thing?

no, the button is not on top but I've never viewed that as a problem

I just line my tank up with the button. Tried lining the tank up with the plate inside but didn't notice any difference...

I did line them up to start with and was convinced that was something you had to do, then I found out from this forum that it really didn’t matter.... and it doesn’t, so now I don’t.

However I do take a paper clip end, and I pull out the mouthpiece plug ( that you draw through ) and set that aside, then pull out the deeper plug and toss that second one away, the replace the first plug in the end.

it would not shock me if it worked a little better lined up, but I really don’t bother with that anymore as removing that second plug improved the draw dramatically for me.

Draws better that way, also easier to clean

It doesn't make any difference. There is enough clearance at the bottom of the tank to neutralise any lining up. More important is to line up the mouthpiece with the battery button so it is comfortable to operate.

I take both pieces out of the mouthpiece.

Nope, I end up pressing the button with thumb at the bottom/right, but it doesn't bother me..

Oh it definitely does draw better. Maybe a coincidence, but my atty died the day I did that. Don't want to jinx anyone- could be it isn't related at all.

I'm so depressed I'm having problems with it. I loved that thing.

First thing I did was remove the pieces. Draws super smooth. Never have bother lining up the grooves though. I just line up with the button and go.

Well mine isn’t perfect.. I do have to fiddle with it ocasionally... I have to touch down the wick occasionally, but I am on the same 2 atomizers for nearly a month now ( I do have 2 more in the mail for spares, remember that I started vaping before I totally quit smoking which is why my cig says less days )

The reason I like mine may be because I have nothing else to compare it to. It is the only e-cig I have ever used.

I am half tempted to drag my wife to that northern California get together and try other stuff. ( but that would probably cost me money )

I do not line up tank with inside of atty but rather with the button. I did take out the inner piece in the tank

I swear, Vicki at Cignot is a saint. I told her my atty died and I got a new one from her in the mail before I had a chance to send mine back.

The one she sent me, I'm not getting any flavor. She emailed me about 20 times trying to help me with it.

I'm not blaming Cignot, it's the nature of the thing I guess. I just wish I could get it to work right.

What juices are giving no flavor? My BWB's 70/30 Menthol Strong/24mg and Applewood 24mg have slightly muted flavors on the T compared to carts, I expected that. I just ordered the LR T atties from Viki @ cignots hoping to give back some.

I use nhaler's nuport. It's not the juice. With my first atty, flavor was excellent, it just died. With the new atty, I'm not getting much vapor or flavor. Actually almost no flavor.

A little muted I don't mind. In fact I like the smoother, cooler flavor with the tanks. The tanks seem like they were made for menthol smokers.
