eGo-T users: Do you "line up the grooves"?

I'm a little confused about the whole button not lining up thing. It's a 3 piece system, can't you just line up the holes then line up the mouthpiece with the button? I have a TW tornado-tank, but thought it was the same thing. Maybe not.

I use nhaler's nuport. It's not the juice. With my first atty, flavor was excellent, it just died. With the new atty, I'm not getting much vapor or flavor. Actually almost no flavor.

A little muted I don't mind. In fact I like the smoother, cooler flavor with the tanks. The tanks seem like they were made for menthol smokers.

Is nhaler's nuport 100% PG, like my Dekang nuport? I wouldn't attempt trying that in a T tank, the consistency is too thin (runny). I find the BWB 70/30 ratio ideal thickness for T tank. No leaks (except letting tank getting 1/4 full, sole source of leaks for me), no cleaning, vaping like mad with NO fiddling +3 weeks (knocks wooden head).

No, I believe his is the same as BWB, 70/30. His juice happens to be on the thicker side anyway. Not super think like 100%VG, but thinker than a lot of juices.

Let me see if I can explain this-

Say your holding you PV with the button up. You align your tank in the atty and pop it in. When you screw your atty onto the battery it ends up with the mouthpiece on the side and the button on top.

So when I vape, my button is on the side. Not a problem, but the mouthpiece and button don't line up on mine.

Let me see if I can explain this-

So when I vape, my button is on the side. Not a problem, but the mouthpiece and button don't line up on mine.

Try reversing the process. Screw the atty on the battery...then pop on the mouthpiece to align with the button. Or, just spin the mouthpiece once everything's together. The latter is what I usually do. It feels funky to me to have the button anywhere but on the bottom being pushed with my thumb.

swedisfish I know what you are saying, you are lining the grooves of the tank with the spaces on the sides of the atty cover with the puncture device.

I used to do that as well ( and had the button in odd positions because of it ) lately I gave up lining the grooves up and it seems to be working just fine.

And quite a bit better after removing the inner spacer on the tank ( from the mouthpiece end )

No, you do not need to line up the tank with the slits in the atomizer. If you take one apart or see pictures on this site of
Ego-t taken apart you will see you get air flow no matter where you turn the tip. That is what I think, for what it's worth.

TheGreekTitan --That is the way I do it, works well and maybe loosens any air bubble at the needle.

Second time in two days that I've read this tip. I'm trying it! Thanks!

I did line them up to start with and was convinced that was something you had to do, then I found out from this forum that it really didn’t matter.... and it doesn’t, so now I don’t.

However I do take a paper clip end, and I pull out the mouthpiece plug ( that you draw through ) and set that aside, then pull out the deeper plug and toss that second one away, the replace the first plug in the end.

it would not shock me if it worked a little better lined up, but I really don’t bother with that anymore as removing that second plug improved the draw dramatically for me.

Draws better that way, also easier to clean

I don't think the clocking on the tank/atty/ button makes any noticeable difference in the performance. I have had no problems with leaks or juice delivery, only flavor issues. Using 100% pg and I can barely tell the difference from one flavor to the next except for menthol. The menthol, when used in a carto practically rips my lips off but in the tank is only recognizable. Seems like the wick is somehow separating the flavor components of the juice from the base materials.

I like the tank system but it needs a flavor "injector" somewhere after the wick.
