Or maybe I read the question wrong... are you going to buy the ego-t kit and a 510 pcc?

If that's the case then the batteries from the eGo won't work in the 510 pcc anyway. They do make a pcc for the eGo batteries, but most people won't need a pcc for an eGo set though because the batteries last long enough on their own.

I realize the eGo battery won't fit in the 510 PCC, what I wasn't sure of was if you could take the cone off the atty and use it with the 510, but if it's larger than the 510 that does kinda defeat the purpose. I was interested in buying the 510 only for use in public because it won't stand out as much as the eGo-T will... Also because I'm trying to get some friends to convert and I don't think they'll have enough balls to start with a big battery unit. But I honestly don't want to be managing 2 different cart systems, especially if the eGo is my main ecig. Thanks for your responses, you've given me lots to think about :)

The cone is the atty, it doesnt come apart.... and it really isnt as big as it looks like in the pictures.

as for your friends... just give them the speel.... they can start with one that looks like a cig, but 99% of people dont mind after a couple days.... they just want battery life and as little fuss as possible.. the eGo-T is perfect for that.

The ego-tank system will not work as designed on a regular 510 battery. They are designed to draw a small amount of air and by having a battery that doesn't match up with the skirt of the atomizer, the draw is very airy and not as warm. It will work, just not as it is made to work.

The fact that the eGo doesn't look like a cigarette seems to make it more accepted by the people that have asked me about it. With the systems with an analog form factor seem to incite panic in places where analogs aren't allowed - but when you put something that definitely isn't a cig to your lips and exhale a cloud of vapor it's more of a curiousity. I've also been using the term 'personal vaporizor' over ecig, explaining that it helps me trick my body and mind into thinking I'm smoking etc etc but without harming it. Even the most viament and calloused anti-smoker seems to give a look of compassionate sympathy for this helpless nicotinehead -- suckers! :)

I've been doing the same thing. When I said "electric cigarette" I got instant bad reactions from non-smokers. Even after saying it was vapor and not smoke they weren't having it.
Since I switched to the ego I called it a vaporizer and tell them sucking on vapor is helping me through cigarette cravings. And boom, they think its great. lol I dont mention the nicotine in it either.
However to smokers, I spill all hoping to convert them! :)

LGD-What can be done to tighten up the draw is to use a silicone cartomizer cap and cut 2 small slivers and push them into the gap leaving space where the notches are for the atomizer to have air flow. Kind of like 2 small crescent shaped plugs. If it is too tight cut them shorter-if too airy, a bit longer.

Thank you!!!! It doesn't look as silly as other people made it seem, it actually looks almost like a pen.

You;re welcome.. you are right.. almost like an 801 pen-style ecig... not saying that I would sport this set up.. but like you said it isn't as bad as it sounds :D

Good Luck..

by the way welcome to ECF :D
