For me, the ego tanks never wick fast enough which ends up giving me dry/burnt hits after 1 or 2 draws. Just too much of a pain to keep them working. I know there are some folks that don't have too much trouble with them, but they're not for me. I prefer 2 or 3 ohm cartos, preferably in a tank. Easy to fill, easy to see how much liquid you have, simple to maintain. In the end, it's all a matter of personal preference.

I drip every now and then, but when I'm working on something or driving it tends to be a little inconvenient. Honestly, I think the carto tank is probably the best ecig related idea since the invention of the ecig. Most folks were so busy coming up with improvements to the battery housing and output, that most of us forgot to consider the other half of the device.

It was such a simple concept that it's remarkable that it took as long as it did to show up on the market. All the tank is, is just a feeder reservoir. It refills the carto for you so that you don't have to top it off every so often. Since it keeps the filler wet for you, the carto itself lasts longer. Unless you pick a steel tank, you can see your liquid level with just a glance.

Most of the custom tanks are beautiful but costly. You could always get one of the cheap Smoktech tanks to start. That way if it's not for you, your only out around ~$12. It functions as well as the custom tanks, but won't be in the same class of durability, lifespan, and quality.
