Ego tank question

OMG I feel like a n00b lol

So I have a road trip coming up, figured either I have the wife drip for me every ten minutes, or I try a tank on my old Ego that I bought last year.

So the tank should arrive in a day or two.

I suppose I just fill it and vape, nothing more complex than that?

Roughly, how many drops should I put in without causing issues?

Any quirks I should be aware of?

Meh, eGo-T's have mixed reviews. It's a love it or hate it type of consensus with that model. I'm not a fan myself, but that model does have a following. I find the flavor somewhat muted, but other customers simply love the model. It does have it's perks with the tank system, but you can't let it get completely empty and have to fill it up every so often. Give it a whirl, but I wouldn't let that be my only choice...especially with a road trip coming up. Hate to be stuck with something I didn't like, but Cartomizer's are always an option

I'll give it a whirl, can't hurt (already ordered). The Ego was "ok" with the low resistance attys I suppose, but it just doesn't compare to 6v IMO in any way. My SB will still be in the car with me, but I'm hoping the Ego will be more convenient, especially when wifey falls asleep during the drive like she always does. I'm NOT a fan of dripping & driving, although the drip tips do make the task more easy.

I haven't had the best luck with the cartos honestly. I tried a couple, but the first 3 popped on the first draw, so i gave up until I came across one I had left the other day. It's working, but it is taking far longer to break in than any other atty I've used. Vaping for probably 15 minutes with it, over and over, but still can't burn off the damned primer, so it tastes like 3 bags of .... I may give them a whirl again on my next order, not sure.
