ego Tank

I am new to the forum and have read almost all of the 2000+ messages in the thread on this, but since I can't post there, I will post the question here in hopes of an answer.

I have gotten 5 ego tank attys. And all 5 died within 72 hours of use. I have used different batteries and the same thing happens. I bought all these from a local sttore in town that only offers a 3 day guarantee on attys

I have had 4 ver 1 type A and I believe but I may be wrong the last one was a ver 2 type A

I use different juices, some clear and some dark.

the last one almost died after 2days but you could still here it firing. SO I blew it out from the battery end over and over again, and bam it worked better than new. 24 hours later it just died and it doesn't fire at all.



After reading all the forums I am left with 3 conclusions to draw

1. I got 5 bad attys - which I find unlikely but possible
2. the attys I got are clones and are just really poor quality clones at that. None of the have the ego-t logo on them like all the ones I have seen pictured on the net
3. I am doing something wrong

So My big question is this because I can 't find an answer to it.

After reading all the different cleaning methods- how often should I clean the atty and since I have not been cleaning it - could that be the reason they die so quickly on me.?

I would really recommend you to buy the GoGo. My first PV was the Ego-T I liked it at first but after a week or so I started to have problems with it. attys started to decrease in functionality, vapor started to decrease and tons of other issues. The GoGo runs for $59.00 which include a bigger bat then the Ego-T a bigger carto then the Ego Tank and you will have far far far less trouble with the GoGo. After reading a trillion positive feedbacks about the GoGo I took my chance to get one and ever since I don't touch my Ego-T. No cleaning issues and if you want to try out new flavors you can still use the Ego-T before you fill a carto on the GoGo.

Oh and I never cleaned my attys unless I changed flavors. In which case you already run into issues. You can either blow out the attys to get the old juice out of them or you go hardcore and put them in hot water. Which makes the atty's life expectency decrease as well -as far as I know don't take this as a fact-.

frustrating Situation. Well the major reason for dying attys is getting too dry or not wet enough. I solved my Problems with PV-based Juice by further diluting it (10% Water). Hope that helps...

Want to quit

I do not want to go back to cartomizers. The tank system is so clean and refreshing and more flavorfull. I hate the taste of a cart now
