Ego to 510 adapter

Has anybody managed to find a vendor selling an ego to 510 adapter? The 510 threads on my APV are stripped out but the ego threads are untouched.

Unfortunately, that does not exist. Try getting a 510-510 or 510-eGo adapter, wrap some aluminum foil around the connection to make a tighter fit, and use that. Just be sure that the foil does not make contact with the center post of the battery's connection, or it will short out.

The only other options are to get a new 510 connector for your APV, or get a new APV. Be sure to use an adapter from now on to save the original threads, and when the threads on the adapter wear out, you can easily replace that.

Honestly, an eGo-eGo adapter is an item that SHOULD exist, just for the sole reason of being a "thread-saving" device exactly for situations like yours. Even eGo style users such as myself could use such an item. I switch my attachments out many times over the course of the day, and the threads on my Twists are what wears out first. I have already thrown out a battery simply because I can't connect it to the charger anymore, and I have a couple more that are starting to go. They still hold a charge as well as they did on day one, but the threads are showing their age.
