MY ego Twist (650 ma iirc) doesn't seem to want to charge fully anymore. I've left it on charger for 4 hours, then another 3 today but it never turns solid green. Before this, it would charge in around 1-2hrs on a USB connection...maybe less.

It does blink green every 10 secs, and when I use it, it has power so I know that some charge is going through but it refuses to show me the steady green.

I have cleaned it and tried it on a different computer but nothing. I don't have a spare charger for it (the only other charger I have is for the KGO which I dont think I can use) so I am unsure whether the issue is with the cig or the charger itself. Anyone else come across this issue? I am thinking to leave it overnight and see what happens. Maybe it works fine but the light just wont show?

Disaster averted. After 7ish hours it finally turned green. No idea what was up and if it will now need that long to charge from now on.

Your Kgo charger ought to work on it. To check, just look at the # on the back. Or try another port on your PC.

What am I looking for on the KGO charger to see if it will work? I also have a USB 2 Plus adapter that I got with my KGO, can I use that to make my Twist charger work on a wall socket?

Thanks. It said something on my Twist about not using it with JOYE 510 batteries as it will burn them out. I was unsure what was what exactly so I resolved to just never mix chargers lol.

Yeah, it's best not to mix chargers, but I've seen lots of people report that the USB kGo charger works fine with their Twists.

The Joye 510 batteries are the stick types and it would ruin them.

The USB wall adapter is more or less universal, (USB standard voltage on a computer is 5 volts wether it's USB v1 or v3) but they make different amperages models. I have one that's a 1 amp for a multi-voltage passthru.

I would use the wall adapter instead of a computer USB port as it will allow your batteries to charge in a shorter amount of time.

The flashing from red to green is the finishing charge and should occur right at the end of the cycle, but it sounds like the adapter wasn't able to draw enough current from the USB port to finish the charge properly.

No way a 650 twist should take longer than a 1000mah twist to charge.

Yeah I dont know why it took so long this time. It has charged many times within 1-2 hrs on the computer before this. The test will be when it needs charging again to see how long it takes. I am just glad it is working.

Both my KGo and Ego Twist USB chargers says input 500 ma output 420.

The plug says input 100-240V, output 500ma.
