Okay, so I just got my twist + mini nova today. I have a 2.4 ohm head on the nova. What vv should I be burning @? I started @ 3.2 & worked my way up slowly... When I got to about 4.4 I started to get the burn taste, so I dropped it back down to around 4... I'm not getting the crackle sound @ all & it just seems like its not working to the fullest. I'm getting the same type hit as my V2.

Also, I filled the tank to about 2ml.. I've only used it twice & I'm down to 1ml already? ... Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks for the help!

Hey thanks for that chart, it really helped (except for this nasty juice I had). I started with the 2.4 & found the best flavor + vapor to be around 4. I switched over to the 2.8 & WOW that was a great experience (except the juice). I dumped the remaining juice, cleaned out the nova & will let it sit over night...

Do these things go thru more juice then carto's? Or am I doing something wrong?

That's a great way of determining your sweet spot. Just remember that each coil, atomizer, liquid, weather and person will have their own sweet spots. Mine changes constantly throughout the day.

Just remember to tilt the Nova upside down every now and then to keep the tops of the wicks wet. It is crucial especially for keeping up with higher wattages.

When filling for the first time, a lot of juice is contained in the wick, coil and the top part of the tank. So unless it came out from the battery connection, all is fine.

Yes, the nova seems to eat the juice rather quickly, but... I assume this is common among clearo's in general, although... the nova is so far the only one I have tried. My kt3 will be in today, so I should have a comparison to go by.
As stated above, you may need to tilt the nova, or turn it upside down to keep the wicks wet. I have found that using a higher ratio of pg in your juice helps with the wicking. I was using 70/30 Vg before, and had a real hard time getting it to wick adequately. Now Im at 50/50 and hardly have any issues.
as far as voltage, its subjective to ones personal taste what ohms the heads are, and the juice used. I personally keep mine between 3.8-4.2 v... any cooler than 3.8, and its just a cool vapor with far less vapor production, any higher than 4.2 and my juice fries. I'm using 2.8ohm heads on my twist, and 1.8 on my standard ego 650 batt.
It does take some tinkering to get the almighty "perfect" vape, but hey, thats part of the fun... it why we got vv devices in the first place :)

Since yesterday I have really figured it out! Lol I guess it takes so,e time to get used to coming from the cig-a-likes. Thanks for the advise about the wick, that seems to help... Also you are right, I think the wick takes a lot of juice (especially on the 2.8 ohm). Right now I'm using the 2.8 @ 4.2 volts... So much vapor. I actually ran the batt out last night & had to use my V2... Wow, what a differce.

I'm using 70/30 right now, not bad. I might try a 50/50 to see if I notice any improvement.

I ordered a T3 & the 1,000 mAh twist yesterday for $23.00 + $3 for shipping.
