eGo Twist not firing... (not a center pin issue)

I have been using my eGo twist for a few months now, and today after charging, I was noticing that it wasnt firing... not only that, but it would blink 3 times every time I pressed the fire button...

every once in a while, I get a few seconds where it will fire, but then it goes back to blinking 3 times... not sure if the battery has just reached the end of its life, or if its something that can be fixed...

Anyone have any ideas what could be wrong?

now its sorta working... it seems to be intermittently flashing now... I tried pulling the pin to see if that would fix the short (3 blinks on an eGo means a short).. its not my cartos/clearos as its happening on all of them that are working on other batteries...

Can juice get inside the eGo and cause problems? is there a fix for this seeing as I cant take it apart (or can I?)

Maybe something has come loose?... is there an easy way to take these apart?

when my twist broke, the internal wires weren't making contact after it took a fall on concrete. i didnt know until i pulled it apart and found that the wires werent soldered anymore. so it could be that.

I would imagine that they could technically be taken apart with the right amount of brute force and persistence... putting them back together in working order would probably present its own set of unforseen problems though. If you haven't done this already I would make sure that the threaded area where the center post sits is thoroughly clean and the insulating material that keeps the post from touching the body is intact. Otherwise I'd just get a new battery if you can afford it and maybe try disassembling the one that's giving you problems if you feel like it.

problem with getting a enw one is im in mexico at the moment, and the quickest I can get another one here is 3 weeks, which is when im going home (to a new mayan ihybrid, but I digress )

Its sorta working, but its really hit or miss... this is all I have to vape down here, and with smokes 30pesos a pack ($2.50CAD) im worried I may end up on regular cigs... (not analogs, as that is also an electronic term... and has always been a pet peeve of mine..lol)

So fixing it is really my only option...
