Kgo 1100 in use now-very happy with it but....all this talk of spares, backup, stealth, vari-volts etc makes me think I should probably 'shop' for my next hard wear. I'm thinking a small size setup might be where to go...but the twist talk has me intrigued. Here's what:
-I think I saw twist's in various configurations...smaller =smaller size?
-approx time frame on twist &/or mini use before it needs a charge?

So many options...it's all fun to look at! I'm waiting for vape mail today-new flavors to try and fun tips to rock!

My first 510 device was the eGo Twist and I was very happy with it. It does quite a bit for the price. A variable voltage mod for $25-$30 is a great deal. You can get the 650 mah version and it is actually not too big. That probably lasted me half a day, but I vape pretty heavily. You can also get the 1100 mah battery, which is a little less that 2X as big and should last you a whole day. I definitely recommend it. Hope this helps.

For a bit of a size comparison. eGo-C 650mAh on the outsides, then eGo-C Twist 650mAh, and finally an eGo-C Twist 1000mAh in the center.

There's another recent thread on here showing the different lengths of the eGo batteries side by side. The mini is 350mAh. My guess is I would get around 1.5 to 2 hrs steady vape time off that. My 650mAh batteries will go 3-4 hours. I have a couple of 1000mAh that would go about a full day give or take an hour or two. I don't have any twist eGos so can't offer similar stats on those. Although I would expect them to last similar when set at or close to standard (low) voltage, and less at a higher setting.

Based on the pictures, I think a 650mAh twist is within a few mm in length as a 1000mAh regular eGo.

Note those duration times were when the batteries were new. As they age and go thru more and more recharge cycles, the capacity tapers off. A couple of the 1000mAh batteries I have had over a year, with around half that in use, are now only good for about 2-3 hours.

My understanding from talking with others is that yes, the 650mAh Twist is pretty much the same length as an eGo-C 1000mAh. I don't own any, so I personally can't take a comparative photo.

The eGo batteries have served me well for longer than I expected. With my big batteries now diminished capacity, I have rationalized moving up to a provari instead of spending another $50 give or take on eGo batteries. My 650mAh pass-thrus are still running acceptable for carrying around if the provari turns out to be too big to be portable (for me). The eGo 1000's (and presumably the 650 twist) are just too long to go comfortably in a pants pocket if I ever plan on sitting down. Definitely too long for a shirt pocket.

I bought the 650 mah Twist specifically for the purpose of being able to sit down with it in my pants pocket.

But I only use a little 510 atomizer with one of the smallest (but really nice) drip tips I could find.
And I have to use the cone, otherwise there is a chance I could break the atomizer off at the connector.

It works great for me, because I am a dripper anyway.
But if you wanted to use something that wouldn't fit in the cone, I don't know how well that would work out.

I use a couple 1000mah Twist with CE3's and a cone with the top 1/4" cut off (because the CE3 is wider than a carto) and carry them to work with me everyday.

I have a lanyard, but those just look goofy to me, so I only use it around the house.

I have no problem putting mine in my shirt pocket. I always bought pocket t-shirts for work because, a) since I work with fiberglass, if I ruined a shirt it wasn't a big deal to just trash the shirt, and b) I could put my cigs in there without being afraid I would squish them.

At $22 for a 1000mah Twist, I am in the same mindset as with my shirts. I would be bummed if I dropped it and broke it, but at $22 I'm not going to loose any sleep worrying about it.

Of course I also have a mod coming from a co-op and a selectable voltage pass-thru for backup, just in case.

If I was carrying a big bat mod or especially a ProVari I wouldn't dare try to put either in a pocket, be it shirt or pants for fear of dropping it or scratching it up.

For now, I use Type B atty/cart for carrying around. It's pretty durable and trouble free. About the size of a sharpie with a 650mAh pass thru. I also like the Vision cartos, but those seem a little too fragile for pocket carrying. A type B combo on a longer battery is too long for my front pants pocket and too heavy for a shirt pocket. I just know it will get broken in a hip pocket LOL. For that matter, I've gotten away from carrying the shorter 650 in my shirt pocket due to weight and a tendency to fall out if I lean over too far or reach down to pick something up.

I'd pass on a mini. The size difference is not enough to compensate for the smaller capacity IMO. Then again, I haven't actually handled one to be sure.

I've got a little project in my head about making a nuke-proof vaper that I can stick in my pocket without unscrewing the carto first. Current Idea is a E2 650 (on the way), with a cone. Once I get the cone the rest of the thought will come together, but currently it'll be a CE3. In my little dream world, I'd like something that kinda looks like the tumbler batmobile. :D

I'm probably going to make a drip tip run at Health Cabin w/i the month, so I think I'll throw a Mini eGo Battery (400mAh,3.7v) in the cart.

Edited to add: Pic showing size difference http://www.nettmixcustomvapes.com/e-cig-ego-mini-starter-kit-350mah/

As a point of reference, if it helps:

View attachment 121980
1100mah kGo, 1000mah eGo-C Twist, 350mah eGo Mini (with standard-length Boge and Shorty drip tip)

Another great photo :). Thanks-so far all I've actually seen is the one in my hand(kgo) and a family members egoT, so actual side by side comparisons answer a lot!
