I read another thread on here about someone having a problem with the ego twist and the connector getting pushed in so it doesn't work with their clearomizer. I am having this same problem. It works with one and not another. Sometimes when I plug it to charge, it won't charge. I am able to pry it out a bit and that works but is annoying. Is there a fix for this? Do they all do this? Are there better ego batteries that won't do this; like the ego winder I think it's called? I want maybe another battery that isn't much more expensive than the twist with an ego thread that doesn't have this problem and is around the same price point. Anyone have an suggestions.

I did the same thing to an EGO-T so I know your pain. The problem is when you screw the tanks on too tight, that will also kill your coils as well. I have since learned to not 'torque' it down like a pickle jar lol. I am using the spinners and I've not had that problem since. The Spinners are the same price as the Twists. Just remember to be careful when screwing on your tank and the charger.

Yeah...so no.

Other than prying it up...IDK of too many options for a "direct fix".

Could try to use a 510 to 510 adapter. They often help "fill the gaps".

It's a connector + tank issue like SS said. So any model will have the possibility of experiencing this (assuming it uses that standard type of connector). Some mods have spring loaded posts in the center instead. Helps avoid the issue. Still, people seem to have problems with those too. lol.

I have had to pry up MANY batteries and mods and have always done so the same way, I even had to do it with my vv Gripper. I take a straightened paperclip and wedge it in and pried the contact. I pried it a pretty good amount each time and they have all been working for sometime. The 510 to 510 adapter will help too.
