Hey new to group and really excited to be here.

I just wanted to post some advice if you are using the Ego-C Twist. If, after awhile, when you try and connect the Ego-c to your connector and it won't work try this: When it's screwed all the way in push down on the battery and if it works if yes that means the pin is pushed down too far and is not connecting. Get a paper clip and wedge it next to the pin and wall in the battery and GENTLY wiggle. It will pull the pin up so it can connect to the battery charger. I just wanted to help someone if they find themselves with this problem, I just had this problem and this advice was on another vape forum and it worked like a charm. Hope you all have an awesome day! ;)

Welcome and thank you. Yes, the depressed center pin is a very common problem. I take a pipe cleaner and carefully "circle" the center pin every time I take the tank off and then I "never" get the center pin pushed down. The gunk from our juice is what "traps" the pin down most of the time. Many center pins float, some are fixed, just varies by model. Toothpick also works. Good luck and thanks again for sharing!

Yes good idea, the paper clip that is. Welcome to the forum and is a great place to pick up info. I use the eGo's just about all the time and find them a really dependable unit however I do have that problem after a while. I love the VV - no more burnt flavours! Cheers and Vape on and Have a Great Christmas too!!

Well I was all happy and thought I fixed the problem. Tried vaping this morning with a clearomizer and surprise no vape production. I tried gently pulling the pin up again and it just isn't working. I think my Ego is toast! :( I know it's not my clearomizer cause none of my tanks are working, not even my cartomizer. Oh well...

Try pulling the center post on the battery end of your clearomizer out VERY GENTLY. Vid below shows pulling the post on a carto but the same idea:

I found that I CREATED THE PROBLEM by overtightening the battery on to the "screw in charger". I was really cranking down on them when it was NOT NECESSARY. Now, I GENTLY turn until the battery "flashes" (E-Go-C Upgrade USB Passthrough Dual Power) and all is well.

I massage the CENTER PIN with a SEWING NEEDLE (thank you wife) and simply go around the perimeter of the pin and GENTLY flick it up. I do NOT do it too much because I am sure the pin WILL pop up too far and come out of the insulating sleeve. I also CHECK VOLTAGE with an inexpensive VOLT-OHM METER to be sure that "fully charged" is REALLY so. I checked the COILS OHM LEVEL with the same meter and found that 2.5 ohms CAN BE as high as 2.8 ohms - so now I use only 1.8 ohms which I see as high as 2.0 ohms; it is a good compromise for me.

Good Luck!
