Hi, i'm about to replace all my old school ego hardware with the carts and 510 attys with the ego type A tank style.

The website has 2 versions of the type A atomizer.

a regular and a low resistance version.

low

regular.

The low resistance is a no warranty product.

Is there any other differences or is the $6 difference in price only due to it being sold with no warranty?

Here is the link in case i have not included enough info.

Any insight here would be appreciated.

I like the standard resistance, the LR seems to burn a lot if i use it with my ego. If you are VV i doubt it matters (twisty)

Im a big fan of the Ego-C setup with type A atomizer though! Doesnt look right in those pics, those look like ego T atomizers. The C has a chrome band at the bottom of the cone where it comes apart to replace the atomizer inside

Is there a reason why you're going for the Type A as opposed to Type B? Leaking at the mouth piece is a regular issue for me with the Type A but that leaking is minimal or non-existant with the Type B. As long as I stick with 100% PG I have absolutely no leaking with Type B. I also prefer Janty over joyetech, he draw is a little tight with joyetech and if I use them all day I have a slight headache from sucking harder throughout the day. The Janty is a little lighter and easier to draw from. Just my opinion. :)

If you have a standard eGo battery (3.7V nominal) then you'll get a LOT more vapor with the LR atty. If you have a Twist (up to 4.8V) then you'll still get a little more vapor with the LR, but the standard resistance is probably OK.

I agree that the type B is better, having tried both. It has an easier draw and holds more. It is still my favorite atty after trying things like the Kanget T3 and T2, which are close.

Also, you should consider ...I think it's called.. the eGo C, which costs more initially but allows you to replace only the heating element which is less expensive than the whole thing. Unfortunately heating elements are about $5 each.

If you get a Kanger T3 it will cost you less and the heating elements/wick are only $2-$3 when they burn out. And it vapes almost as good, in my opinion.

Edit: You have to be very careful that the type B (or A) does not run out of juice. It doesn't give you much warning. But once it's out of juice the heating element goes instantly. The Kanger dries up much slower and so you can sense that something is wrong in time to add juice.
