Just picked up my first VV/VW battery and I've got a question...

I built a coil that I measured with my multimeter to be 2.0 ohms. I put it on the battery several times and the measured resistance was different every time. One reading was 3.2, the next 2.7, etc... I figured it knew better than I did..

Anyway, after a while I noticed the vapor was starting to taste burnt at 7.5 watts. I took it off again and put it back on and the resistance came back at 2.0 and now it SEEMS to taste better.

My question is this: Does the battery measure resistance every time it's fired, or does it store the reading from when you first connect the atomizer?

What type of atomizer are you using? Was it fully assembled when you used the multimeter?
It reads it at least every time you hold the minus button to check the ohms, not sure if it checks internally when wattage is adjusted or the fire button is pressed, I'd be interested to know that too.
If it is a problem with the V3's internal resistance checker I think you might have to use variable voltage mode.
I haven't had this problem with the V3, I've only seen the resistance change .1-.2 over the life of a coil and no changes from disconnecting and reconnecting

The battery constantly measures resistance it just remembers your last settings and adjust voltage (when using VW)
The only thing a can think of which I have heard of before is that you have bad connection from battery to coil giving you bad resistance readings therefore the mod keeps changing the voltage to compensate trying to keep the wattage at what you've asked of it.
Try changing to VV and see if the flavour remains stable. If it does it could be a faulty mod either way getting readings like that is not normal and will explain why each hit tastes different. if you cant cure this problem, then only option is to send it back for replacement.:( don't put up with only using VV mode get it replaced get what you paid for.
