I purchased a starter kit in May. Embossed Paisley Starter Kit | Virgin Vapor | Electronic Cigarette Organic e-Liquid | Electronic Cigarettes this one to be exact. Last night I was using a freshly charged battery and a new cartomizer when I noticed the light would go out and come back on while vaping. Just once and not on every draw. It has never done this before. Could it be the battery? Or the cartomizer? It's not going to explode on me will it? I know, maybe a dumb question. I've googled and ECf forum searched. There's some scary stuff out there. Lol. The center pin looks ok and I've cleaned the contacts. The only thing I haven't done is tried a different cartomizer. Should i just suck it up and put a new cartomizer on it? Any help would be great. Thank you in advance

does it blink three times? If so that indicates a short in most eGo-type batts. That could be caused by a really low resistance coil - below 1.3 ohms or imo, dual coils.

No, the light goes out and then back on mid draw. Almost like you let go of the button. Only I didn't. I have seen both (I rec'd 2 batteries, do the 3 blink thing on occasion). I take the cartomizer off and usually find some ejuice on the battery which I clean with a qtip, put back together and it's fine.

Ok. My experience is mainly with Joye eGos and I've never seen that 'on/off just once' thing. Perhaps a bad connection or contact in the circuit board under the button.
