I've used everything from 1.8 to 2.4 on my standard battery. The 1.8 defiantly pits our more and warmer vapor. But I been primarily using my twist with the 2.8 head an love vaping at around 4.6v.

On the other hand the 1.8 on the twist is wonderful at around 3.6v

So if your using a standard battery you should be good with anything below 2ohms. Been giving my friends 2.4 heads on their standard Batts and they like it. Not too strong for a new vaper. I'm sure they will want to raise thir voltage or lower the resistance eventually.

I'm finding the 1.8ohm heads are the best on my non-Twist eGo. For some odd reason, my 2.4ohm heads are performing best on my Twist at 4.2-4.6v, but the 2.8ohm heads give off a burnt taste over 4v. Kind of odd...I may have just recieved a 2.8ohm head that was a little off....but i do have a few of the 2.4s and a few of the 1.8s, and I don't get a ton of flavor with the 2.4 on my regular eGo, the 1.8s are great though

I plan on getting some rebuilding materials with my next juice purchase, so hopefully, I'll be able to hand make some 2 ohm coils. I'm still not too sure about using a SS wick, seems like a pain to make. Though I did find some 100% organic cotton cooking twine in a drawer that I can play with.

On my twist I vape my 2.8 at 4.2 ohms, my 2.4 at 4 ohms and my 1.8 at 3.8 ohms generally (supposed to vape at around 3.7 ohms). I'm sure the 2.4 would be fine on your standard battery, I would try out the 1.8 and the 2.4 to see what you like personally. Anyways, here's this chart might help.

Battery === Single Coil === Dual Coil
510, 901, 808 == 2.0-3.2 ohms === Not Recommended
eGo ==== 2.0-3.2 ohms === 1.5-1.7 ohms
3.7 Volts === 1.7-3.2 ohms === 1.5-1.7 ohms
5 Volts === 2.5-3.2 ohms === 2 ohms
6 Volts === 3.2-4.5 ohms === 2.5 ohms
7.4 Volts === 4-5 ohms === 3 ohms

Vape on.

I finally for some 1.8ohm heads for my 3.7V ego Pv and HOLY FRACK, what a difference! Its giving me the heat I missed from my boge 2.0s / SmokTech 1.7s, plus a HUGE amount of vapor! Only probably is that I have a slight cold and can't taste anything, so I can't say how they taste =[

my nova 2.4ohm heads are all coming in at 2.9ohms. the same might be true for you.

First tried it with the 2.4ohm it came with on the Vivi Nova... it was wonderfully flavoured and vapour production was better than my CE4.... but then, tried on the 1.8ohm head... walllaaaaaaaaaaaaa...... heaven! TH was good, Vapor was warm and much more volume... the best part is, it made me realize how sweet and nice my juice was... i felt like eating my vapor but i couldnt (Sour Fuse Ice Custom blended by Bancho in Malaysia) ..... I couldnt even put my ego down and vaped all night long! Ha ha ha... I need to visit my juice vendor by the end of the week! This vivi eats juice like crazy man!
