Ego VV mini power supply questions (no battery)

USB passthrough sorry I wasnt specific in the title.

Hi guys I was wondering if this specific device can be used in a usb hub 1.1 powered at 2.1amps 5v. I will only be using 1 port on it. Also I heard poeple having luck with 1amp usb charger as I have one. I'm kind of reluctant on ordering this but I'm low on money

It makes sense this device works kind of like this charging adapter pulling more power from it. Didn't know it was possible but I trust the poeple reviewing it. And I've heard poeple using it on thier computer which is only 500mah per port but it could ruin it. I guess i'll find out when I get it if yall want me to report back lemme know.
