Personal opinion here, but the elegant looks like a regular eGo but with cartomizers instead of the 510, B-Type, or tank atomizers. The torch looks a bit more unique with the colored ring, but in the end, eGo-T there with some flash. Plus at $100, I wouldn't buy it. The elegant is a bit more reasonably priced but in the end it looks like just a regular eGo passthrough.

Again, that's just my opinion, you know how that goes ;)

I'm not sure what the eGo XL Elegant and Torch is...just tried doing a Google search and kept getting regular XL eGo kits and batteries.

Just in case you've not seen this yet...it lists all sorts of great options, and if you're in the $100 budget range, you'll definitely want to know they exist :) So, here's a great site that offers a run down and provides links to the places you can find them.

That's a good site for mods. I've used it often. I have an Indulgence because I was wondering what all the fuss about 6v vaping was about.

In the end, I use an eGo daily as my go-to PV. The 1100mAH batteries last me a solid 10 hours between charges and I usually vape about 3ml a day. Normally I use my eGo with 901 atomizers because I can't kill those things. Lately though I am tired of constantly refilling the carts because they hold about 12 drops. I just got some cartomizers so giving that a shot and so far I'm liking it... The eGo-T atomizers are a great idea, but a bad design imo. The eGo B-Type leaked a LOT.

Too late for the short version, but what works best for me is the large eGo batteries with a regular 510 or 901 atomizer, or cartomizer. Best bet is to shop around, try different things until you find something that works best for you.

Are the ego any good?,, there is a lot of talk about them on here,, and it would seem that everybody has one..

Anything you would recomend to steup from a 510

eGo and Riva type Batteries are excellent for the money. They should last you for many months (average is 300 charge cycles) if nothing breaks in them. They are tough as nails, and with the true eGo charger, they do charge pretty fast.

You can also get an inexpensive e-power kit by SmokTech now which lets you change the battery and parts inside instead of tossing the entire battery.

Many of the mods referenced earlier are going to be more like that epower kit, in that you can actually service the batteries in them without replacing the whole case/switch/etc.

You can get eGo/Riva kits...really nice ones with a pair of batteries, charger, and starter vaping supplies for under $50. That's why I wanted you to see the really nice mods before you lay down $100 for just any ole battery kit :)

Spydr9,
I bought an Elegant 2 Battery kit last june from Cigeasy and it is still going strong. It is a KR808-D threading battery and 750mah. Use with the KR808-D cartomizers. the Elegant XL is an 808 with a larger battery, like 1100 mah. I think the Go-Go has taken it's place but is proprietary to it's own huge fill up 3ml cartomizers. You can find info on these on the cigeasy forum.
Ego's are most popular and have a 510 threading battery. Carts or cartos are great on the Ego. Liberty-Flights has a slammin' deal on these with the 20% top left click coupon. Probably the best price your going to get anywhere. You should read more and search about your inquiry on this very knowledgeable ECF forum and you will have all your questions answered completely. :)
