Apologies if this has been asked before, but "eGo XL" doesn't come up with many results in this forum.
I've been using Fluval in the 510 carts with great success. But the 510 carts have the benefit of a small amount of liquid with a comparatively light weight in a small space to allow liquid to stay trapped in the foam's galleries. The problem is, Fluval doesn't scale well at all; when I put some Fluval in the XL cart (well compressed) and filled it up, the additional weight of that much liquid just caused it to leak right out -- literally dripping out without any coaxing on my part. So, Fluval is right out.
Is the blue Marineland foam different in any way that would make it work here? I'm using the regular polyfill for now 'til I can find a better material.
