That sounds like a loaded question...

My first kit - and my second - were JoyeTech eGo kits with 900 mAh and 1000 mAh batteries and I never regretted the decision. The only reason I bought the second kit right after the first was healthy paranoia. As a noob I had no idea what to expect for life span on batteries and I knew I wanted at least a backup charger too. And since the kit also came with extra attys and carts and... It seemed to make more $$$ sense getting the second kit instead of picking up individual bits.

That was back at the end of April last year. After using them exclusively for my first 8 months of vapng all four batteries are still working. My experience with real JoyeTech stuff has been very good.

I do I do. But I also like my kGo also. At this point I just like anything I can get to work and taste good to me. I got a starter kit of both. EGo has 1000mah batteries and kGo has 1100mah. I can go over a day on one battery from either one.

I do!! I have a 4-day old eGo-T, and love it. Can't make an objective comment about battery life yet, but a question - how long will my clearomiser last? Do I need to buy a replacement just in case, or can I afford to wait a couple of weeks?
Thanks in advance!

Backups for your backups. Your clearo can be perfect one moment and be gone just as quickly. Were it me, I would get several more, immediately.

I bought an Ego kit a few weeks back and it has been a great introduction to vaping. The kit had atomizers and cartridges, so I resorted to dripping and leaky cartridges. With all the hardware that is compatible, I've already moved on to a Stardust and a 3-hole dripping atty. And today I ordered an Ego Twist, multimeter, Phoenix rebuildable, Vivi Nova tank, wire, and wick. Hopefully this will be all I need for a few months, as I am spending way too much. Curse the ubiquitous 510 thread!

And then get some more backups. I found out the hard way that they will go out just when you think everything is ok.

In terms of a base model, the eGo is hands down what I recommend to anyone who isn't hung up on the device looking like a real cig. I've got 4 of those batteries (2 of which are more than a year old) and they still fire reliably and don't look as obnoxious as some of hte other things I use for vaping. They are my go to setup when out of the house.

I recently bought my first Twist. I have had pretty lousy luck with most, if not all, of the clearo's that I have tried to use for it, and the regular eGo batteries. What I am finding, is that the original eGo-c cone and tank work awesome on the Twist. I use the SR atty's vaping at around 3.7 volts. It's really gives a good vape and has great flavor. So after being aggravated at all of the clearo's, this seems to be my vape now. I may change to something else, but, for right now this is working out great.
