EGrip RBA - Problem flavor muted

Hello everyone,

I am used to the Evic-Supreme with a Lemo tank. Flavor is great.
But if you know the beast, you know it is not very discrete.
That's why I purchased the Egrip with the RBA base. The form factor of the Egrip is amazing, no regret.

But i have a problem with the flavor.

I am using the built-in coil. I am now at my second tank, but the flavor has not improved. Surely, reading the (very positive) reviews on this RBA, i must be doing something wrong.
Can anybody help?

I have a 1.3-1.4 coil on it, and it's been great. The wicking might have something to do with the muted flavor. I wick it like the kayfun and lemo where the wick
doesn't reach all the way to the bottom.
