Took the Dremel to the little bugger tonight. I was looking at all the burrs on one side of each juice channel and went up and down each one with a deburring tool. The burrs came from the threads that carried over during the molten pour. I smoothed them down and almost rounded them out a little bit.

Then I attached a circular brass metal brush to the ole Dremel and did a once over of all the threads. I got the chimney threads real well. The inside threads of the chimney were tough to get at. I got the base threads of the atty and the brush fit exactly perfect into the main tube so I worked those threads over well. Then I moved to the top cap and dremeled all the gunk out of it as well.

I was looking at the device under a 6X;s magnifier and could not believe the build up and gunk in the threads. I was thinking if I cleaned them out my overall seals and vacuum would improve.

I rinsed her all off with warm water and dried. I then got really bold and went for a TOP FILL which never works for this device. I figured if I get a good initial seal with the top threads I would be good to go.

I made sure all the fittings threaded perfectly and they were much much smoother. I laid the wicks in the channels as gently as possible with little or no distortion. I prejuiced them.

I filled just above the bell, threaded on the top, turned it upside down for a few minutes then unscrewed the main body to expose the air holes, flipped it right side up, waited a few more moments and put her on the battery and Voila!

No leaks, great feed and great vape that this device has given in the past.

I am moving onto my KFL's next.
