Ehpro kayfun 3.1 question

There are two screws at the base of the kayfun 3.1. The first I know to be airflow control


there is a second screw and I'm wondering what its function is? you can see it here

What is the function of this screw?

Fill hole? Is there a fill hole on bottom next to 510 post?

And a second question, I typically use a toothpick to build a microcoil using 28g kanthal at approx 9 wraps to get 1.5ohms or so. I push about 4.2V through it and some of my builds take 3 seconds or more before the coils start to glow. Any idea why this is and on other builds I get almost instant glow off of the coil?

One is air hole
One is air control
The other uses a needle filler to fill tank..(upside down) using vacuum and covering air hole at same time

If I take off the bottom cap where the liquid reserve is there is a screw on the base of part 2 that I believed to be the fill hole, maybe it is not?
