Just got the Ehpro KFL+ V2. I haven't built on it yet as I am in the process of cleaning it, but I noticed that the juice channels seem *really* small. The only comparison I can make is to the cheapo Kayfun Lite clone from fasttech, but I would say that the channels seem about half as deep as that clone. They are cut so shallow in the deck that they barely even touch the threading! (the FT clone channels probably cut through three or four threads) It may work fine, but in comparing, it just doesn't seem like there is much room for the juice and air to work. Definitely will need to keep the wick from plugging what holes there are!

Am I concerned about nothing? :)

(Will try to post a pic tomorrow)

Are those channels a problem? Did I get a lemon? Thoughts? TIA!

Can I ask a question that really isn't meant to be mean?

Why not just build it, vape it, and see if it works instead of spending literally 10 times as much time taking these pictures, re-sizing them, uploading them, then typing out this topic?

...the channels look OK to me.

LOL, I had to do something while waiting for the parts to dry off! ;-) Part of it is this - I like to know ahead of time some approximation of what to expect performance-wise, so I don't have to experiment with 10 builds to find one that works. Also want to know if something looks wrong enough to return it, before I gunk it up with juice and no longer have that option. I can always dremmel after I've used it, but that's a hassle... :)

(And with my iPhone, those pics took five minutes to take and upload... ;) )

First, I see no problem with those channels. you do not want Flooding or having to over pack your wicks.

Second and almost comical - The cheapest KF Clone Fasttech Sells is one of the best performing of 8 units I own.
Cannot figure out why................Yet! It even out performs my Kayfun Lite Plus units, by a nice margin.

If you ever have one with actual bad channels, File or Grind open the Up Channel and just a small area of the Base Channel at the Chimney area. Doesn't take much to get fluid flowing.
