EJUICE AND CARTS- Many vendors, mini-reviews

OK, so, I'm fairly new to this and over the last month I've spent about $400 in E-cigs and juice and here's what I've found. After buying a KR-808D-1, a M-401, and a JOYE 306 I settled with the KR808, as the other 2 had insufficient throat hit, absolutely none. So, all of this is based on the 808:

I've gotten juice and carts from SEVERAL different vendors, and all in all I have to say I am VERY, VERY dissappointed, and here's my thoughts, along with a simple request. PLEASE HELP ME FIND GOOD JUICE and or CARTS!

*SIDE NOTE: I noticed that almost all of the pre-filled carts, no matter the vendor or flavor were harsh, lacked flavor, vapor, and throat hit. It would be nice to have some pre-filled that were decent even though re-filling isn't that big a deal, it would be nice. (I have about 70+ carts now between blank, emptied, and pre-filled)

*SIDE NOTE2: I was a 2 pack a day NEWPORT smoker, so, initially I wanted to find a great menthol. That has yet to happen.

Probably one of the better menthols I tried, but far from what I could smoke daily. All around average flavor, TH, and VP...

Not very memorable. All I remember is that I was not impressed. Very minty, not good.



Vapor Talk

This had to be the biggest dissappointment of all. $60+ in juice I figured I'd like at least 3 or 4 out of the 9....Boy was I wrong. The included flavors were:

Dulcis
Coloda
Grape Soda
Sweet Dawn
Cappucinno
Choco Java
Exotic Tobacco
Midnight
Mentha

Impression overall ALL OF THEM had close to no throat hit and seemed watered-down. Especially the "sweet" ones. Grape soda, coloda, and sweet dawn, which WOULD be good if they weren't so weak! Imagine your kool-aid when there's too much water and not enough sugar.

The coffee flavors Dulcos, Cap, and Java were pretty weak as well

MENTHA is the only one that wasn't weak, and it was overpowering mint flavor.

Overall impression, I won't be buying ANY of them in the future if I somehow finish them...Dulcis and Sweet Dawn and Cap have potential, but, again, far too weak and watered down for my tastes

Decent. More tobacco flavor than Menthol, good TH and VP, but, would prefer a bit more Menthol

As I've stated in the past, this is THE BEST juice I've tried hands-down. Single-handedly responsible for going from 2 packs a day to less than 1/2 a pack. Great FLAVOR, makes your mouth water, Great TH, great vapor. The ONLY negative is that I can't smoke anything else because they all pale in comparision after you vape this...

Blah...Not sure if it was the carts or not, but, not sure what the RY4 rave is all about, didn't taste much vanilla or caramel, just tasted like some off tobacco

Dr Pepper was very vanilla, but, not much like Dr Pepper. Was actually decent. Again, as will all carts low VP and pretty harsh, but, decent flavor

Probably the single worst flavor I got. Not as advertised. Tasted NOTHING like a Black and Mild, not even close. Good Throat hit, harsh

Much the same as the Brandy, like most carts a little harsh, and lacking big time flavor. I read peach, I wanna taste it!

KR808D-1 Mega Cart Flavors: RY4 (24mg)

Not much to say. Just average all the way around

6ML Nhale/Xhale Liquid Samplers - 24MG Flavoring: 555 Menthol

Probably the worst menthol JUICE I got. Very minty, almost medicine-like. Not good.

Worst menthol CART. Could not even tell it was supposed to be MENTHOL.

Mmm, blueberry? Nope, really good flavor, if you can taste it. Very subdued. Again, I want the flavor to pop, and this didn't. Would be great if they could make the flavor stronger. Not as harsh as some other carts.



All in all I'm pretty upset. I can tolerate a few...Dr Pepper, Peach, Brady, and Tobacco/Menthol, but, I constantly keep grabbing the ATOMIC CINACIDE! It would be nice to have another option for change of pace.

I agree with you about Tasty Vapor's A.C...it's amazing. Keep in mind that, if you liked the juice, but thought it could use a bit more menthol, Geoff does custom mixes. Just email him and tell him what you're after.

Another thing to keep in mind is, all those flavors may NOT be as mild as you thought they were if you're vaping a lot of A.C. It tends to dull your taste buds to EVERYTHING else. I know it's hard, but try to shelve the A.C. for a couple of days, THEN give the other liquids a try.

I've never shelved it for a couple days, but, I've resisted it all night and tried new flavors in the morning, and I tried half of these before I even got the AC...

None are even close...Not even in the same stratosphere. I want ANY flavor that is in the vicinity of flavor, and TH as AC. Heck, they could prob do a Gold Schlager, or Sambucca that resembles the punch. SOMETHING comparable, ANYTHING!

I am having the same issue right now! I almost wish I hadn't tried the AC so soon in my vaping life...then again I'd be so upset by the disappointing juices out there that it's likely I would have returned to analogs...ok, well maybe not.

I tried menthol from Totally Wicked and it has great menthol flavor. I used to smoke Parliament Menthol Lights and this stuff was stronger but has the taste that I loved. TW is a bit pricier than other places for liquid but if you are looking for menthol, I'd venture to say it is worth it.

Just recently I found Vape the Rockies and love their juices...especially the Bourbon Straight Up...the flavor is just like that of Woodford Reserve I'm all about it. Now I can happily vape on that in the morning with coffee and feel like I'm drinking an Irish Coffee.

I'm still on the look out for my evening vape though. I love the AC after lunch but after vaping it all day, my tongue feels worn out or something. I have juices on order from Mrs. T's and vapor nine so I am super excited to try them out...maybe we will have ourselves a winner! I also picked up some flavorings and sweetener from the Perfumers Apprentice and will be trying my hand at the DIY thing...hopefully I can find something besides the AC to satisfy me

Just my opinion, but in case you are tempted to try V4L...don't. I bought 5 flavors from them and they are all icky...perfumey/soapy...no bueno I had heard great things about them but was severely disappointed by the juices I got.

The crystals increase the menthol taste (not minty at all) and the throat hit. Reminds me of a Halls cough drop. You can actually feel it opening up your nose, nasal passages if you use enough! That might be a bit to much for some.

I'm not a menthol person but I have heard of the crystals..I had some sent to me as an extra, but I don't like menthol...regular Juice that I just love is called Backwoods Brew made by a member here It is great! Some of the flavors are maple tobaco, Applewood,Ry4 Etc..They are great to try out! Loads of Vapor & TH!

I like Vapor4life cartomizers.I really like that they have sampler packs so you dont have to waste a bunch of money on 5 packs of flavors you may not like.I believe they are the only ones who do that.

As a side note, I am a beekeeper. We use menthol crystals at times. You can buy them in bulk, and probably cheaper at beekeeper supply sites! Do a G or Y search on beekeeping supplies...

I think your right, there are few juices with real flavor , none of the prefilled do it for me and I have tried quite a few.
The only juice I buy now is from Ms Ts Bakery and Tasty Vapor.
Takes a bit longer to get them, but worth it in my opinion
