Ok this may be a little weird but!
As I was browsing through Rawrvapor's site I noticed on the serum blends they had pictures of Apothecary glass bottles. Example http://www.bestbottles.com/pop_window.php?id=409

My question is this, I know they keep perfume in these bottles and it doesn't evaporate.
Would ejuice work the same way? Would this keep my juice fresh for at least 6 months?

I think it would be very sexy to have a cabinet with a couple bottles of ejuice like this.

EDIT: Yes I realize my example is not leak proof, I wouldn't buy these lol. It was just an example of the style of bottle.

as long as you keep it in a cool dark place, and a good tight seal im sure it would be fine.
The enemy of nicotine is heat and light.

Per wizard labs......

Storage
Nicotine solutions should be stored in a dry, cool, dark location that is secured from untrained personnel. Always keep Nicotine solutions out of the reach of children and pets. For long term storage keep Nicotine solutions in a glass container with an airtight lid, and proper labeling. To help prevent oxidation, keep Nicotine solutions away from heat, light, and in contact with as little oxygen as possible. Nicotine solutions may be safely stored at room temperature. Optimal storage temperature is 34-41 degrees Fahrenheit. Nicotine solutions may be safely used for up to 18 months with proper storage

As I was browsing through Rawrvapor's site I noticed on the serum blends they had pictures of Apothecary glass bottles. Example 4oz Clear Pear Bottle With Stopper. These are semi-automatic and handmade bottles. Proper fitting stoppers, however these bottles are NOT leak proof.

Just so you know, I've ordered a ton from RAWR, there juice is fantastic however I've never received any of my juice from them in glass. I just got a order from them today actually.
1--55ml
2 diff 30mil
& 8 5 ml samples & all came in plastic.

I know sometimes I see a pic on a website & automatically expect my order to look like that & if it doesn't I get a little let down. I just didn't want that to happen to you.

But of course! Always have to abide by those rules lol.
I guess I should have focused my question more.

I'm going to have everything in a closed cabinet near my bed. Like a medicine cabinet. So we have Dark and Cool covered.

My biggest concern is with how the apothecary bottles seal. It is nothing more then a glass on glass stopper.

I know the dark bottles with screw caps have orings to help seal them. So those are a no brainer win.

Though thinking further into it, they should seal really well. They use glass on glass for water pipes and those don't leak nasty water everywhere!

The thought of having some Ecto Plasma and other randomly colored juices in these bottles is just SOOOO AWESOME!

@ Eyebedam

Yea dude, I don't expect them to sell in bottles like that.
Shipping them would be a SERIOUS hassle because of the stopper, but once that juice is at home it would look AWFULLY sexy in a glass bottle like that lol.

I know a few companies use the dark amber glass dropper bottles and those are cool, but not the Old world im a wizard doing alchemy kind of cool or mad scientist cool! ROFL!

But foo, the idea is that these don't come out of the cabinet except to refill a carto or tank.
So knocking the bottle over is kind of a mute point.

Anything I plan on taking with me or using a drip tip with will be in a dropper bottle.
This is more for the WOW factor then anything else.

I'm sure but accidents happen. As long as you don't have any children or pets around then the choice is yours. Nicotine is poisonous. It is meant to be kept safe which is why our juices come with child proof caps. Those apothecary bottles are glass fit tops without seals. Juice is meant to be shaken frequently. I'm sure you wouldn't find it pleasing once those bottle tops get slimy with juice. I know you're after aesthetics but search for apothecary jars which have a plastic seal on the lid at least. How were you expecting to get juice from those jars when they run low? I want your bottles to be pretty but it doesn't appear you've thought this through. There is a bottle out there for you which will be safe, functional, and purty. Keep searching.

Well, I'd be using a pipette most of the time, so lost juice at the bottom would be maybe 2-4ml... or roughly $1-2. I can live with that.
I lose more than that in cleaning or spillage anyway. Not to mention these bottles would be meant for my ADVs, so it would just get refilled anyway.

As to the shaking, that does make a valid point. I was thinking of finding the ones they use for perfume though. The ones with a leak proof seal, since perfume is alcohol based it evaporates. So shaking the bottles shouldn't be too bad. I'm sure some minor clean up here and there would be needed though.

Sorry dude, I've much thought this through, albeit very quickly. Its just I came here for a simple answer of will it work? So I kept my post short. But in answering ya'lls questions I have pretty much managed to answer my own rofl! Yes it will work. I shouldn't be worried about air leaking in at all. Most plastic dropper bottles I've had when knocked over with a cap on can still and WILL leak!
I actually lost about a half a bottle of some tasty coffee vape due to this... the juice now coats the inside of my glove box T-T

So I think I'm going to give it a try anyway! I'll report back how it works in the next few weeks. If it sucks, well at least the bottles aren't $40 lol!

Thanks for everyone's replies! Always helps having extra thoughts go into your own lol!

EDIT: I realized why Foo replied the way he did, it should be stated that this kind of bottle is DEFINITELY NOT TO BE USED AROUND CHILDREN or kept out where a pet could knock it over. Even though I worry more about my stupid cat chewing a plastic bottle anyway rofl!

If its glass on glass, which it looks to be, you'll get just as good of a seal. If not better, because it can't degrade (well, chipping, but that'd be unlikely).

But I do agree, I'm clumsy so a bottle like that wouldn't work for me. I go with the boston rounds in amber, polycone lid. Cheap, strong by my standards and the amber will keep the contents safe from 98% or so of light.

IMO child proof caps are a joke especially on the plastic dripper bottles. Nothing beats a good storage container & lock.

afaik the only reason for glass bottles is some juices are more caustic due to certain ingredients like wintergreen and cinnamon. Some vendors will ship in indigo glass bottles with glass droppers at no charge. One that i know of for sure is RW vapors. haven't looked to see if he sells them seperate but i imagine you could contact him and ask even if they aren't listed.

Ahlusions is the only one I've found so far that ships in glass w/included drippers. Everything but sample size.

Glass has the benefit of being nonreactive. With just about everything. As far as we know long exposure to PET or HDPE bottles could leech into the liquid.

My liquids usually don't sit around that long. But for the relatively cheap cost of glass, all of my DIY liquids will be stored in it.
