ejuice tasting burnt or?

So i have a bottle of hoops from alpha with a nicotine level of 6. I have already vaped half of it with no problems. But now i geting a burnt stingy throat feeling with it. I am using an i clear 16 tank with the i taste vv3, running at about 8 volts. I thought it was my coil and cleaned it. No affect so i tried it with a new coil with no results. Is their a reason for this and how do i handle it?

8 volts? That sounds awfully high. What's the resistance of your coil?

In between 2.2, and 2.1 ive even tried lowering the voltage down to it lowest and still get the taste

8 volts and a 2.1 ohm coil is 30.5 watts. I'm guessing that's too much for that iclear. Did you turn the voltage down low with a new coil? If you're using the old coil maybe there's still some burnt juice on it so you're still getting the taste.

Id guess you mean 8 watts?
I'd try a new coil after cleaning the iclear very well.
Lack of airflow could be a cause if the above doesn't clear the issue up.

Make sure your juice is a 50/50 pg/vg ratio wich works best in tanks usually.

Nate; ive lowered on the new coil and still no results. A 50/50 ratio is good but i found the a 70/30 work well with out killing the coils. Im also thinking i could be burning up the juice. Which also is petplexings since the 16's dont really suck juice fast enough. As for the air flow im still trying to get good air flow with the 16's

Well as DasFriek pointed out you're probably at 8 watts, and not 8 volts, so I'm thinking I was wrong about you burning the juice. I don't know enough about those iclear tanks to give you any good tips on fixing it, but I get a burnt taste in my Mini Protanks when they aren't wicking well enough. That's been using juice that was at least 65% VG, so it's pretty thick. Maybe thin out the juice with a few drops of distilled water and see if that helps.

Sorry for the volt/watt mix up. I ment 8 watts. I will give the distiled water a try if not ill throw it in to variable voltage mode and try. I noticed that the variable voltage give a more direct power and nicer hit and voltage is less power with a good hit

I have found that some lesser quality juices will scorch a lot easier than others at higher power,generally bakery and custards and creams don't like high power.
Trying a different brand on hand may help sort the issue out.

Very true DasFriek im using a top coil tank (which im not thrilled with) so your point is right. As for creme, custards and bakery juices. I havent had a issue yet. Then again i havent a chance to try other companies juices
