Yes the button on the 50 watt is a bit odd shape and I do have to put slightly more pressure on it but its a great device and I can cope with that. One thing that is annoying is when I want to see the screen and how long my draw was it disappears as soon as I let go of the button. Not all the time but once in a while. All in all its my favorite digital device right now.

Same problem here and I've had mine 10 days. When I first got it, once it cleared the "click" threshold, it would always fire. Now there seems to be a small gap just past that threshold where it won't actually fire but will light up the screen. It definitely needs a bit firmer pressure to assure it always fires.

I love mine. I think the secret is to squeeze it because of it's shape it is much more ergonomic to fit in your palm like a flask and just squeeze with your index finger applying pressure in the middle part. mine fires right up no button rattle and feels so solid. 50 is way7 better then 30 IMO, and the 30 is great and I still use it daily as well.

I've had several of these on the bench with the same button issue. The issue was resolved with a spacer or shim under the board about the switch position. It almost seems like there is some flex to the board after it's been used for awhile. The shim stiffens the board and allows the switch to operate normally. The shim should not be a conductive material and you should not consider the repairs unless you are quite comfortable working with electronics at the board level. If the device is under warranty then get an RMA. This repair will void an existing warranty!

Yeah it happens with mine but it's a minor inconvenience. I still press it fairly lightly and just deal with it cutting out occasionally because I feel like pressing it very firmly might be bad for the button in the long run. For $45 shipped and a device that lasts me at least 72 hours between charges I can deal with this very minor annoyance.

I also own a Kanger Kbox and while it's inferior to the IStick in several ways I like it's fire button much better. It's location on the opposite side of the 510 as well as the fact it has no wiggle room and it never cuts out.

Mine will (very rarely) keep firing after I release the button...a few taps on the button usually stop it. It looks like QC in china for eleaf is problematical, I've seen other comments about build quality about the 50w...but I just bought another as a standby, and I do love them. Perfect for a beginner who wants to have flexibility for the future (and not have to worry about charging frequently, or whether some piece of hardware will work).

I had the same problem with mine, and I know I was holding down the fire button the whole time. Luckily, the vendor I bought it from was willing to exchange it for a new one. I haven't had any problems with the new unit I got. I did hear that the button is a little finicky and requires a fair amount of consistent pressure throughout or it will stop firing.

Glad to know this isnt just me. I have had mine for 6 weeks and its been perfect up until this past week and has increasingly got so bad as of yesterday that it wont even turn off now each time I try and there is nothing worse than sucking air when you think yo are inhaling and nothing comes in.

6 weeks this has lasted and i have 3 full set ups so I dont use it all the time----sighs, I am starting to think that cheap $30 devices using 18650 batteries every 3 months or so are the only way to go......
