1/2" copper tubing/fittings, JB Weld, Steel Wool and a pipe insulator and you can have one yourself from Home Depot.
Lots O' Elbow grease too! :D
Already got my design in mind! I will however sweat it together with 99% silver, then polish it. When I get around to it, you can bet I will post a pic! :)

So the GS Airs don't vape well above 10W or so? I wonder why eleaf rates them to 20W. How do the rebuilds vape compared to the stock duelies?
I use the 1.5 stock coils at 12 to 15 or so. My rebuilds at .9 to 1.2 wick much better with the rayon an I use them at 16 to 18.
Cheech says he doesn't use stock coils anymore because the rebuilds are better. Check out his blog on rebuilding

The Audeze are beautiful and sound amazing. The Burson amp is pretty nice too. ;) You can't do much better than those Beyers & Fostex without spending major bank, however.

I've kept things pretty simple on my end. MDR 7506, HD 380 Pro & HD 650. The SONYs and 380s go on the road with me and get beat to hell. On my second pair of 7506. The first lasted 18 years! The 650s are for home use only.
I usually use the amps on my interfaces but also have a Schiit DAC/AMP, Whirlwind 4-Channel and Rolls 6-Channel. The Schiit and 650s are a great combo for not a lot of money.

I haven't ventured into the K812/HD 800/LCD-3 realm. I have pretty good ears but I can't tell much difference twixt $500 & $1500+ cans, certainly not $1000 worth TO ME.

I've been known to comb through Head-Fi but never joined. I'm not an audiophile, just a lowly sound professional.
A very nice collection you have, the 7506's are an industry standard and many have had the pads changed numerous times. Schiit makes fine gear and the HD650's are supposed to pair with them quite nicely. I have a buddy in Montreal who has the HD800's and he is on his third Woo amp, just likes collecting them. He has the Burson Conductor for his main DAC but has since picked up a Wyred 4 Sound.

I would say that you could most likely hear better than half of the so called Audiophooles from the Sound Science Forum (SS Asylum is what I call it.) over on Head-Fi. The amount of utter BS there is waist deep and higher in some places.

I was tired of bad audio and just wanted something better, so when one goes looking, one finds Head-Fi. Audio gear can be quite the slippery rabbit hole. There is a reason they welcome new members with "Welcome to Head-Fi, Sorry about your wallet." ;)

Note the well-formed lanyards.

I used the JB Weld to keep it clean, the solder can seep out and ruin the joint's look.

You better post a pic, I will be expecting it! :w00t:

Sorry for all the OT Audio talk folks, just another passion of mine and I can get carried away. ;)
No need for apologies. I can be the same way with discussions of contra-bass sarrusophones and clarinets.

I played the clarinet in the high school marching band. My mom gave it away or sold it when I went away to college. I still haven't gotten over that, and it's been 30+ years ago!

The marching band was one of my favorite times in life. Sorry to hear that Jingles. :(

I think that may partially explain why I like to collect things and hate to lose my possessions. Just collected another IStick 30 today. My blue and white porcelain came in! It's pretty and the pattern makes it look smaller than it really is.
