I guess they will introduce a new TC mod.
The first production run will be chock-full of features:
  • Extra machine oil
  • Miniaturized fill aperture
  • Enhanced Popposity
  • BLS probability ~68.074%
Still, I'm intrigued. I wonder if they will emulate the Cool Fire IV and include a lanyard attachment post?

With dual coils, if one coil pops, the resistance of your atty will double. So, with 1.5Ω dual coil atty, 3Ω (or thereabouts) reading indicates that one coil is dead and the other one is still alive and well.

I agree with everything but the last sentence because some 1.5 ohm dual coils are not made with two 3 ohms.

Features:
GS Air Head:Equipped with two parallel 3ohm coils which will bring a high degree of stability and safety compared to single 1.5ohm coil.

So, I'm back to thinking maybe the mfr. qc isn't all that might be hoped for. They need Lynn to take charge of the process. Hey, Lynn! How's your Chinese coming?

Hopefully there will be ways "around" most things for a while. A few years back we used to buy cigarettes online from a company out of state to avoid the higher Michigan sales tax. It saved about$15 or $20 per carton if I remember right. That went on for a while and then the state got wise. They somehow legally got the power to force the major online cigarette companies who were doing most of the business to turn over their records - and the names and addresses of everyone who bought cigarettes that resided in the state of Michigan. They wanted their money -- and we got a bill for almost $800 that we HAD to pay in "X" amount of time.
The states take tax evasion very seriously -- we found out! They want their money.

I'm just wondering how well these little coils will perform without being fastened tightly with screws. There are enough problems with some RBAs that are not particularly suited to TC. Nickel requires a tight connection for a TC mod to detect the changes in resistance as the coil heats up. That's what the mod bases it's heat evaluation on. Their recommendation of 30 to 40w doesn't mean anything either. It's all about the temp setting not the watts or joules. A higher power setting will just get you to temp quicker unless you're wanting to vape at 500+ degrees. I find that 16 to 25w is plenty to get me to 420 and even 475 (for some juices, I like a warmer vape).
But I do think everybody's gonna be doin TC soon.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwww!!!! Thank you Nanny.
My mom has been in the hospital following double bypass/valve replacement surgery. She's been having a rough go of it and has been in ICU for almost 2 weeks now. This past Friday, it was not looking so good and they had to put her back on the ventilator. So I've been kind of busy with that and trying to get some renovations done around my house.
One of my dad's hobbys was researching bioengeneering, and he was very close to a lot of top surgeons here, as a matter of fact, the second artificial heart implant in the world was done here, by that team of doctors. So I've seen a lot, and with the research in these past 30 years these kind of surgeries are foolproof. So much so that with my own angyoplasty I was smiling all the way, the doctors didn't understand, until the head surgeon came in. THEN they understood that the team had developed all those techniques that later were refined, but were they the ones that developed them!
There is risk envolved, depends on your mother's age and prior history, but beleive me when I tell you that the risk is little. Nevertheless, my prayers are for you. I've seen more bypass and valve replacements than many surgeons see their entire life, and most patients live a good life afterwards. So hang in there...

I had a coil reading about 4 ohms. I took it apart and the top coil was broken in two. I remember checking the 2 coils to see if they were the same length but don't remember the results. :) If the coils are equal then the only explanation for a reading more than 3 ohms on one coil would be the heat burning the wire thinner because of the extra power applied after the one coil broke or burned in two. The Kanthal could change resistance with just applying the higher heat but I don't think it would change a full ohm. IIRC the coil that I mentioned also read around 4 ohms cool.
