Morning, Lady of the Enduring Spirit Skillet.

Have you heard of the iSmoka Eleaf Kanger consiracy to make coil builders life easy?
No, I haven't gone over to the Dark Side yet, but have been considering it. Biggest worry was how to immobilize the coil in a block of scrap pine. Just found the solution.
Have some odds and ends in the box where I collect coils for eventual dispatch to Cheech's Coil Mortuary and Resuscitation Facility, LLC. There was a Kanger Unitank Mini base in there, the sole remaining piece from a sad meeting between the Uni plastic tank and a mildly acidic tropical flavor juice...
To make a short story longer, the Air coil screws perfectly into the Unitank base (which probably means it will work with any Kanger Protank II base...they use the same coils). I screwed a 510/ego adapter onto the Uni base. Now I just have to drill a hole in the pine with the same diameter as the Uni base, or just a fraction smaller.
I could countersink the bottom of the block, paint it paisley with racing stripes, but
the simple, important part is sorted.

PS- Having the coil affixed to a gripable (is that a word?) base, I tried rocking it back and forth in a full size Unitank topper. Rock...rock...rock... and Voilà! Off popped the coil top.
Thanks, Cheech!
You journey to the darkside has begun...

When I rebuild the Lemo Drop, I screw it down on a dead MVP 2. That way I can hold the battery between my legs and install the coil without having to hold anything.
Sounds like that would require flexibility I don't possess...

Not really! I rebuild in the recliner so the MVP is pretty big. Between my knees and it leaves both hands free. When it was working I could even get a ballpark ohms reading.

Hey! Them is fighting words!!! :grr: :lol::lol:

But no, I'm not. I've just been using the M's and the GS16S's on the mini.
I forced myself to use the MS for a couple of days...they grew on me. Haven't used them since...except in the video.:D
