Most of the time when I have the TV on, it's for background noise, and I'm rarely actually watching it. :D
Wow, really dead in here this afternoon. :) Everybody must be out and about. Still on the Tv issue?
I also use mine to fall asleep. Have to have some type of noise to sleep. I guess it's from growing up around lots of noise in the house. I just cannot fall asleep to sheer silence. :)

Anyway, tomorrow's my Friday and I should have vape mail (actually, vape tool mail).

Congrats Lynn!!

Whadya win?
Don't know yet. They send you a link with prizes listed and you list your favorites from 1-20 for me. I think Nanny did 1-10. I guess the promoters decide which prize you wind up with. It's all good! There were some really great prizes listed. :)

Congrats Lynn!!
I'm the same way IMRs. I fall asleep with the TV on every night. "They" say that's not good but my brain goes in to over drive if I don't have something to keep it occupied.

I've struggled with insomnia for years. If the tv is on, I can't get my brain to shut down.
Boy am I in that boat with you, Lynn. I take a combination of medications to help me sleep. It leaves a bit foggy during the day, which I hate, but it's better than being exhausted every day. Sleep is vital to our health, down to the cellular level. I don't think most people realize how important it is.

Yep, my list was a 1-10 choice preference to be made by me. Then they TRIED to give everyone their first choice - IF a winner ABOVE them in the order had not already chosen that as THEIR prize. Gosh, does that make sense? SO Lynn, the prizes will be handed out in your group in the order your names show up. As long as no one above you picks your #1 prize, you will get it. If it HAS already been chosen by someone above you, then you will get your #2 prize, etc.
I won an eGrip OLED Kit: Joyetech eGrip OLED
I plan on supporting this vendor in the future, and hope you guys will consider it as well. This was a very generous prize and their contact and communication have been excellent. Beyond that, I found out that the founders are all women, female vapers on a mission to advocate vaping rights.
ALSO, the egrip takes the GSAir coils, so I didn't have to start buying another type of coil to use my prize. Hopefully it will be a win/win. I am anxious to try it out.

On the insomnia thing -- I have it, too! All my life, and so does my son. It's a curse! Some of the home remedies work for a while for me, others don't. I've used a sound machine at night for years and it helps: Sound Machines | HoMedics USA
Normally, I fall asleep with the sound machine and the TV on, while COUNTING backwards from 300 in groups of three - an old trick that does work, most of the time. There are other things you can do, breathing techniques, etc. TRY EVERYTHING!!

Cignot has a location here in St. Louis. I've been a few times. It's a long way from me, but it is in a part of town I visit from time to time.:thumb: The fall is a long way away in the vape world, but I'd been planning to ask for an egrip from Cignot for my birthday. Let us know how you like it.:)

I feel for you, LVM - sounds like you have it bad! Have you tried this: Dr Weil's 4-7-8 breathing technique will help you sleep and de-stress | Metro News
I couldn't take the meds no matter how hard I tried -- I was just too groggy from them. Otherwise, I've done it all -- valerian, a hundred different pillows, you name it. It really is a curse.
It really is a curse. I started having problems about 22 years ago, when I got pregnant with my first daughter. She's been a pain ever since too! Still love her, though.
