Sometimes it's the hunt, not the capture...I did score my dream Schick Krona at an antique store!

Scared to order something off fleabay like that as it can cost upwards of $60 or more to have them replated...the search continues!

skeeters here are small and the bites only itch for a couple hours usually, but the greenheads (kind of horse fly) are rotten. They are slow, so you can often swat and kill them, but not before they've taken a chunk of flesh. Almost as bad as tourists!

When I was a kid and lived on Lake Marsha in Orlando, we had Horse flies that looked like Sparrows. They would draw a nice trickle
of blood.

We also had some Serious fire ant beds.

We'd catch the HF with our hand while they were biting hell outta us, rip one of their wings off, and drop them in the middle
of the fire ant bed.
