I saw that sale, Gran. Any juice in particular you would recommend?
Good morning Air Heads. :)
Good morning Elvie Emm,
Taste is subjective, I'm told. I can only tell you what I enjoy, which is not the same as what's "good". To further muddle things, I've put most of my first two Derall orders aside to steep, and am due to try them this week, a month or two after receiving them. All that said, here's what I've ordered, and where possible, a review or opinion.
Note: As far as memory takes me, all juices are 50/50, and either 8% or 10% nic.

Cherry vanilla- pleasant
Black Licorice- Very powerful! I add a drop or two to a tank of spearmint or wintergreen juice from other vendors to add a nice kick.
Fruit smoothie and Somerset Cove- two different fruit blends, both agreeable
Mango- generic hard candy flavor. Nothing like the taste of a real mango, but pleasant.
Blackbery Crush-Lovely after 8 weeks of steeping.
Cherry balsam tobacco-ok. I need to try this again now that it has steeped.
Orange Crush- an IMRs suggestion. Very nice.
Coffee-Very nice
Key Lime- A keeper
Banana Nut Bread-I suppose if I liked cakes and dessert flavors, I would give this a thumbs up.
Sweet tarts- Pleasant.

I'm a pretty one dimensional vaper, myself and vape just about exclusively on NET liquids. That siad, I do like some artifical tobacco juices and have found that the Derall tobacco juices to be pretty decent when steeped for a week or two. I generally stick to their Vanilla, Caramel, and Cherry tobaccos. The Cherry Balsam is nice, too Can't beat the price at $26 for 240 ml.

The description of "Balsam" is kind of off-putting to me. I can't help but think of the taste of how a Christmas tree smells.

That's balsam, too.

Another interesting fact about balsam is that it is one of the richest sources of nectar and pollen grains for bees. Also, its raw seeds have a nutty flavour and its leaves/shoots are used as food ingredients in some places.

That's It!!! Knew I heard that somewhere...do they still make it? Brooke looks awful young...
Your brain is in the "Way Back Machine", Cheech! I used Wella Balsam in high school -- and that was a very long time ago! It did smell good though. I don't think it is around any more. *sigh*

OK... So the Gnawing Desire to re-wick my GS Head reached a peak yesterday. And I went ahead an Attempted it.

I tried the Head Cover removal tech by Inverting the Tank Body. I was Rewarded by a Distinct "Clink". Just Great. Cracked the Tank Glass. Grrrr.

But when I looked, the Glass was Intact. And the Head Cover just lifted Right Off. LOL.

Dis-Assembled the Head. Dead Simple. Went to wind a Coil and Discovered that the Largest Rod on my Coil Master that would fit in the Head Body Slots was 2mm. Rut Ro.

I haven't had Great Luck with 2mm Coils. And I wanted to have Something to Hold the Coil in place when I connected them to the End of the Head with the Rubber Seal/Metal Plug.

So I decided to go Off Script a bit and filed the Slot Opening with a Jewelry File until my 2.5mm Coil Master Rod would Fit it. It didn't take much.

Made a 2.5mm 1.6ohm Coil, Attached the Wires with the Rubber Seal/Metal Plug, Stuffed some Cotton in it, Trimmed it to the Sides of the Head Body, and then Jammed the Cover back on. The Entire procedure to about 5 Minutes minus the Slot Filing.

Not Sure what I Expected to Happen? Leaking perhaps? Dry Hits? Maybe the Cover wouldn't Stay Put?

Have to Say that None of this Happened. And after 4 or 5 Hits, my Re-Wicked Head was hitting As Good or Better than the OEM Head.
