WTA mg. is different from nicotine mg....so I ordered the highest WTA mg. available to "extend" it
Not terribly different. WTA contains nicotine, nornicotine, and a couple of other alkaloids. The majority of it is still nicotine. In a 36mg sample, approximately two thirds or 24mg is nicotine. The other 12mg or one third are the other alkaloids, but primarily nornicotine.

Right, lung hits are like breathing the vapor in only through a straw. Is that how you used to smoke?
Heck no. I smoked Kools, so I guess there wasn't a need for that.

I used to do lung hits--when I was young and unafraid--but it wasn't cigarette smoke...
 Read my mind.

I used to be a dental hygienist. Here's my theory: Because of the antimicrobial properties of PG, the germs in the mouth are being killed. It is the bacteria in the plaque that causes cavities and gum disease. If you kill the bacteria, there is less decay and periodontal disease. I, myself, have been vaping for 4 years all kinds of juices and no cavities and my gums are nice and pink. I also haven't seen reports on this forum of other vapors getting a lot of cavities. I think this would be a real interesting area for scientists to study. JMO
I would love to see that researched as well, that's a very interesting theory! When I changed from smoking to vaping my gums receded some and some bleeding for a while when brushing, that has stopped now and last checkup was less plaque build up. The initial bleeding etc was apparently due to the effects of stopping smoking from things I've read.

OK, so last night I ordered unflavored DIY WTA 24 from Aroma Ejuice (a small bottle to start with to see if I think it helps me). Should I vape it on its own, or just add a few drops to any flavored ejuice I already have? Thanks!

Depends on your nic level that you normally vape at. I typically vape 0 or 3 mg mic, so I craft my DIY and mix in for a total 1.5mg/ml nicotine base and for a 1.5 mg/ml wta base... to stretch the WTA out a bit. This give me a 3 mg/ml blended base.

For perspective, that's 1.25 ml of 36mg WTA base and 1.25ml of 36mg Nic base mixed into 27.5 ml of my mixed VG/flavor combination... totals 30ml. At this rate, the 50ml bottle of WTA base lasts through forty 30ml bottles of juice... or 1200ml total. Same for every 50ml of nic base.

The WTA is $81.95 for 50ml... the nic base from nude nicotine is $31 for 500ml. With shipping and whatnot, it comes out to an extra $2.20 per 30 ml bottle... like I said, expensive... and most of that is the WTA.

Use my long-winded explanation here as a base for you... adjust it using you preferred nic level.

FWIW I bought WTA, unflavored, mixed it with the liquids I was vaping and didn't notice any difference at all.
Well, in that case...

They have all of our Airs there. :)

Wow, IMRs, it's hard to find a 30w iStick for that price. If I wanted a temp control mod, I'd go for it. But I just can't get all that excited about them.
I also tried getting excited about TC...shakin' like a dog poopin' a peach pit...still couldn't pull the trigger.

It might be different if I got dry hits all the time, but I don't. I can't even remember the last time I did - maybe right after I first started vaping. Plus having to buy titanium or nickel wire and wrap really low resistance coils. I'm thinking, why bother? :D

So...still wondering...if I get 0.15Ω TC Heads for my GS Airs...will I still be able to MTL hit???

Gerrymi, those TC heads come with nickel coils--very different from kanthal and nichrome resistance-wise. In other words, they are not super low res as kanthal or nichrome coils would be at that res. Different animal altogether.

I guess I'll try just adding a few drops. I don't DIY my juice yet so I'll add more or less depending on the nic level of each juice. Thanks. :)

That's what I used to do--FWIW...

Keep us posted and good luck!

That's why I tried a small bottle, I'm not sure it will help but if there's a chance I have to see. :) It's interesting it doesn't help everyone.

Not a bad way to get a quality 40 watt mod on the cheap, though... just leave it in wattage regulating mode and put the new GS Tank on it with the 1.2 ohm coils... boom: sessy little setup with all day battery life.
