I've been getting 7-10 days. They would probably go longer, but when the flavor starts tasting "off" or the vapor goes down, I switch them out. That's why I'm looking forward to rebuilding them.
The 7-10 day range mTches my experiernce, so far...but...
I haven'thad one fail yet. The resistance display on the istick creeps up from 1.5-1.7 into the 3+ range. I guess that is the combined resistance of the coil and the caramelized gunk. At that point I switch coils and give the older one a very hot water wash. I've done that three times with thefollowing results:
1) Idiot (me) tried to speed up thedrying process bydoing a moist/dry burn. Yes, I fried the coil. Dumb, but I learned something.
2) Hot rinse and left it out to dry, as a good lady here suggested. Three days until I try it again. Patience is hard for me.
3) Paper towel dry after hotrinse, blew through it,put it backon the battery and vaped. Ohms had gone from 4.1 to 1.9. That coil is back up to 3.1 after three days and about ten to fifteen ml of 80/20 clear juice. I'll try another rinse and see what happens.
I may muster up the courage to try to follow Cheechako's good example and instructions, but age doesn't help eye-hand coordination. Changing a leather watch band yesterday took 15 minutes. All that said, it's still better to pop in a new coil and be a happy old (what's the language code around here?)-______
puffing away than the alternative.

When I was reusing coils it was rinse and blow dry then back in the tank to let the juice replace the water.
the water always disapated quickly and I was up and vaping. Never did quite get the hang of dry burn to
revitalize a coil, it worked, but not to the degree I woud like.
Interested to see if waiting for it to dry will get the same results as Lost did...

Thanks for that...confirms my experience. I've dry burned dozens of Protank coils. Got rid of the crud, but if I burned more than 2 or 3 seconds at a time, the gaskets would fail. For me, Kanger = post-revitalize leaks. The GS Air experience has been nicer.
Belated thanks to LVM for thedrying advice.

I've read quite a few methods on here for revitalizing coils and have never found one that works to bring a coil
back to new condition. I cannot argue with any of them, but that has been my experience.
I have tried the RBA's, RTA's and various rebuildables and have never been satisfied with any of them.
I know rebuilding disposable coils may seem silly, but it's not really the money, it's the quality vape I get
from them and I do love the Rayon!
Okay, I'll get off my soapbox and back to your regularly scheduled program...and get off my lawn! :p

I didnt expect the GSAs to perform anywhere near what they do before I tried them. Super tanks :) I just put a new coil in a Vivi Nova and it is already flooded. I feel like tossin these things. Cant get them to stop floodin. Need more GSAs

I figured out how to stop the flooding, vape holding the tank upside down. But then juice runs in your mouth. I gotta take this thing apart and see what the problem is.

Bikerz, I've been experiencing the same thing with my Vivi Nova + BVC. Constant flooding on a fairly new coil. I opened it up and.... hmmm..... let's see how well I can put words together here to paint you the picture.

Holding the base as if you were going to change/add/remove a coil, there the surrounding area is like a well, and mine was pretty full of vliquid. I wiped it clean, and poof, gurgling/flooding gonezo. But it did come back a little. I checked again, and sure enuf there is a tiny bit of liquid in that well. Evidently, the connection between the coil and the chimney is poor. I never thought to mention it as I thought it was an isolated case, but perhaps not?

Anyone else use a Vivi Nova and have this issue?

If i can get some more of youse guys and gals interested in it, im gonna invest in wick & wire companies. ;)

I have to admit, with rebuilding, I just swap out coils after a short time.
It is nice ot to have to think twice about it...

I don't rebuild. I don't rebuild. I don't rebuild. I don't rebuild. I don't rebuild.

Having said that, Cheech, you're tempting me BIG time, and I've actually thought about your generous offer for "medical supplies". ;)

Oh no......... I dun WANNA rebuild!!!

(but i kinda sorta do......)

NO, KD, you do NOT!

ummm.

SO - guess the French get first dibs!

Looks that way......I can't find them anywhere but France.....odd.

Welp. It is interesting and it is an unanswered why only in Europe, but this seems to be a bit of a trend. When the Anyvape Cerotanks hit the scene, they were all over Europe and not here. Even now, I'm not sure any US vendors carry them. Not to take ANYTHING from our beloved Air Tanks, the Cerotank is QUITE marvelous. Quite. <nodding head>

I have also put out some feelers on info for the new Airs. Will you keep you all posted should I discover anything!

Those new listed specs on that site are for the taller 'M' one. It looks like the M-S is 22mm.
And it says 3.5ml for the M, but other sites list the M at 2.5ml, but probably both are 3.5ml?
But nice to see the first listing of some specs.
That site showed a picture of the coil, looks the same as the Air.
And the translated page appeared to infer the coils are the same. Would seem crazy to change them.

eta: and they show the coils as the same as the air!
'Pack of 5 heads ELEAF BDC 20 Watts for clearomiseur AIR GS / GS AIR-M'

This is more than good news, cap'n. I would hesitate on getting a new Air - M or Air - GS if in fact they took yet another size of coil.

Amen! I would like to try different tanks and experiment, but at $30 to $40 bucks a shot it gets old.
I hate spending the money and going, "That was nice, didn't knock my socks off, but it was nice."
The GS Air is the first tank in a long time I had to go and fetch my socks right out of the box!

Yep! Fetched, folded and put away. ;)

It should be at the start, when not filming I use a come-along, crowbar and a cranky Cub Scout to get it apart.
I don't see how you can tear it apart without negating the existing stock coils.
If you damage it, send it to me and I'll recoil and fix it better than new!
A safer offer to experiment on your coils can't be had.

That was my big fear, just when I found something I like, they upgrade it and make the old coils obsolete. :(

I was talkin about damaging the case. I have 5 used ones I want to build. What materials do you use? I know you already posted the info but I searched some and got a headache. I have rayon and 28g kanthal but the wrap material I don't have.

edit: Also have a come-a-long and crow bars

Yes you do!
Come to the Dark Side...
What do you have to lose by getting the liner material, it's free and it will be staring you in the face saying, "Put me in one of your rebuilt coils!"

If you like, I will send the liner material along to you, enough to rebuild an army of coils.
By gripping the cover at the top, you won't damage it. Screwing the bottom into an old T3 head
or some such will give you the proper leverage and it will come right off.
I will admit the first coil I tried to take apart really took a beating!
I didn't understand how they were assembled...Once I had the complete picture
I understood that a solid, stable base is needed to screw the coil into in order to
get the proper leverage to pop the top off.
In fact in the video I did not screw the coil into the T3 base enough and you can see it's not as stable as it should be,
Hence the trouble getting the top off, and I did ding the chiminy, to no ill effect on performance.
