Ok, I cleaned my tank and loaded up one of the chimney-less coils and so far so good. Been vaping on it for about an hour no gurgling.

Will let you all know if that changes. Real test will be it's first vape tomorrow morning.

In a soft, quiet voice,"Please Lord, keep the booger-man away from the tank overnight and no leaks."

So far I like it better then the cotton I have. Getting more flavor with rayon no dry hits, coil is reading 1.2 ohms ivp mini is 15w. :D:vapor:

Joey you did really well then, it usually takes a like tinkering and experimentation to move from cotton to rayon, there a few differences. But by all means kuddos on your first foray into rayon. Vape on :vapor:

I did not use much rayon at all. Only problem I still have is if I turn up the watts past 15 I start getting dry hits. I cant figure that part out lol.

If you pull rayon back and forth through your coil, you know you have it when you get a kind of squeak.
I think these coils may only do so much due to the restriction on wicking caused by the liner.
But it's enough to keep me happy!

You bring up an excellent point Cheech, not even a straw under vacuum can bring in more juice than the juice ports will allow then when you wrap a tampoon between it and the wicking material you have added even more to the equation. And quite honestly I hate algebra! ;p

Tampon Mud.. it's a tampon coil

I have always joked with my wife & daughter calling them thangs tampoons, and took them one time into the bathroom, dropped one into the toilet and watched it explode to about the size of a basketball. I then asked them wonder why your cranky about this time of the month? ;)

There you go again with that there french! Then top it off with ally-jabber...

I tried making the liner only one layer in order to facilitate wicking, made a bit of difference, hard to tell.
15 watts is right about where I run mine. More vapor than I'm used to!
