I looked at the replacement coils for the GS Air on fasttech and the top silicon gasket is recessed
unlike the ones I have and looked at on various sites. Does this mean anything?
It kills me to think of these coils getting tossed instead of rebuilt...I'm such a cheapskate!

And speaking of you...... I really enjoyed your rebuild vid! You made that look like a Kat could do it. Plus it's the first time I've been the first replyer'er on a YT vid! I'm quite excited, and you've made my day. ;)

For those who may have missed this masterpiece opus, here is our own Cheechako movie star:

A little tedious...

Thanx for the link. Do you like them as much as SM does...or dislike them as Kat does?

I have mostly Nauty's in my "rotation" (am waiting for the larger capacity GS Air's to become available). But I also have 2 IBTanked. They're beautiful, quite easy to fill and do give me a "different" vape than clearomizers.

Thanx for the link. Always interesting how different vapors like/dislike vaping gear.

One of the attractive qualities of CartoTanks (to me) is how easy they are to refill. Leaving it attached to the Mod...insert refilling tool => push up tank => refill => push down tank => replace drip tip...you're done!!!

With the one locking tank I tried...I had to remove it from the Mod to UNlock it before refilling. That kinda' defeats the "easy-filling" aspect of CartoTanks.

I've still to find my "favorite" Carto. I do plan on trying a couple "DCT Pro Coils".

However I've also heard a lot of praise for "Ikenvapes". But...whenever I go to his site I'm always overwhelmed by the number of choices.

Which one(s) (XL=45) would you suggest I try?

Cartomizers

Any that are available! IKV has spent the better part of their career (long time vendor) tweaking, revitalizing, and improving the karto experience.

Thank you, high praise indeed from the Kat!

If a Cheechako can do it, a Kat most certainly can do it!

Thank you for the reply on the video! It's the first video I ever posted and you were my first reply:w00t:

Thank you two for extending the support to the video comments!
As my Mom used to say, "I'm proud of you son, you did as well as any highly motivated, strategically shaved monkey could."

In your nightmares
Started to get some dry hits off the rebuild I did so I redid it a 6 or 7 times and determined I had to much wick in the coil. Less is better for cotton in the coil, anyone else attempting to rebuild make sure the cotton can slide easily in the coil. Vaped a tank of juice and not 1 dry hit on this build at 1.4 ohms :)
