Well, I tore one down to take a look. They put an extra piece of wick between the coils. I think a dual coil build is feasible but not gonna try one yet. No wonder this one quit on me:)

Nuttin to be askeered of Nanny!! If I mess it up its only 1.

Nothing ventured...

You'll mess up a few, probably. Learning curve. We all do. But when you finally succeed, you'll feel so good about yourself. It ain't rocket science, but it does take practice. And a good magnifying glass.

Keep us posted!

Not really sure but I think it was about 12mls of Vape Wild Berry Blast followed with about 7mls of Peanut Butter Cup. Seperately they do better but this one fouled pretty quick when I used the same coil.

Well, first came the space program, which gave us "Tang", and then there was the Limbo Stick. Humans evolved, both sideways and backwards, but modern science prevailed, and we replaced phrenology with tne 8088 and 8086 microprocessors. After that it was just a hop, skip and a jump to left-handed monkey wrenches, self-propelled laundry baskets, and the internet. But humans are a curious race, and someone decided to breathe vapor while meditating on the writings of Bulwyr-Lytton (who gave us, "It was a dark and stormy night...")

To be continued...

Woohoo!!! :rickroll: :rickroll: :rickroll: First GS air coil build is behind me!!! Easy peasy! It's much like rebuilding a protank coil except for the liner material and getting the coil top back on. Those take just a tad of patience. Other than the fact that I couldn't find my 16 gauge needle :glare: and had to use a 5/64 drill bit, I have 9 wraps and it came in at 1.8ohms. Next time I'll try maybe 6-7 wraps to aim more for 1.2-1.3 ohms. It's hitting great with some NT banana pudding. Thanks Cheekako!!!

YAY! Way to go, Lynn! I'm so encouraged. I'll definitely give this a try as soon as we have one go bad.

That's exactly what it's like to me, rebuilding a protank!
I knew you could do it! Congrats! :toast:

Did you use rayon or cotton? How many layers of liner?
I redid some and went back to the needle, just my preference...

Nanny, it really is easy to do. Even the top of the coil came off with no too much force. The only hard part is getting the coil top to go back on but I got it over the liner material and kinda screwed it down going in the same direction as the wrap. It took a few tries but it went back on. The flavor is awesome!!
