Though the gasket is recessed, the coil body is taller, and from the looks of this picture, it seems the gasket sits higher. I'm wondering if it is getting over compressed and that is causing the leakage.

I see someone put a GS Air coil in an eGrip and that worked. Those eGrip coils look identical to the old GS Air coils. Has anyone put an eGrip coil in a GS Air?

I do it all the time. No leaking & less burnt hits. I've heard of people switching out the bottoms to do it but I never have. I just open a coil & put it in.

Me too. I had some egrip coils left over so I just threw them right in without changing a thing. Still vaping with it.

Interesting. Would love to hear more people's experience from doing this.

While researching this I see that people are using Aspire (Non-Nautilus) BVC coils in their eGrip by swapping the bottom pin. I'm wondering if that would work for the GS Air.

Just to be clear, you guys are using the eGrip CS coils right. I believe those are the ones with the chimney that look like the GS Air coils. It seems half the pictures on websites are wrong.

The one on the left is the original eGrip coil. The one on the right is the eGrip CS coil. Right?

Universalvap has them for $7.00, but you have to order 10.

Wonder why she sent that email.I can't find them anywhere in the UK thou

I'm kind of miffed with anything related to Chinese customer service right now, so I don't want to venture a guess. A couple of sites in France have the Eleaf GS Air M.

You could try requesting Fasttech get them. The Request link is on the left side of the your Account screen.

I'm using one of the chimney less coils in my GS Air today. It's vaping like a champ! No gurgling, no flooding, no nothing except a really great vape. And it's been held vertical, horizontal while in my pocket and nothing happened at all...still going strong almost 12 hrs later!

That's some great news! Hiya!

I shall have 2 more of these awesome little tanks and two packs of coils by next week, thanks to one of those places I'm not allowed to discuss... I hope all of my coils have chimneys.
Now I'll just have to find new juices for the new tanks! :D

That's very good news. I'm glad for you.
I am slowly, v e r r r r y slowly collecting coils that died of natural causes, plus the ones I helped into premature graves. Some day they will fly to a warmer place for resuscitation. The first two to go the way of all flesh came with the tanks. The poor little things have no knurls. The other two are knurled. All performed very nicely. All came from the same good vendor, Sweet-vapes. None appeared to suffer knurl envy. Maybe chimneys are like knurls, from an electro-mechanical-metaphysical standpoint. Or not.

Makes me feel like I'm coilly challenged.
