In your nightmares
Joey, I'm guessin that you have little experience with coils. I highly recommend you read up on building them and watch some videos. If you want to use thicker wire, 28g is easy to work with. The lower the number the less resistance of the wire and the more wraps you'll have to make to get the same resistance. You can have major problems, especially with non regulated mech mods. You can damage your mod or even yourself. Not sayin that's gonna happen, just advising you to be safe. :) The bad hits you got with the original coil was probably more the wick material than anything

Thanks for the advice Bike :) Going to poke around the forum for more info, there is a lot of info here and I would be foolish not to use any of it. I do have little experience building but I do understand safety about batteries and a little about wire I am not rushing into this blindly. I have rebuilt the heads on the gsa a few times and only fired them on my 30w istick because it is protected I need to buy an ohm meter and other items also.

Good morning, Lynn. There's a rumor going around that Cheech has invented a sub-atomic cheeky monkey that sits in the base of the MS, running a molecular compressor...

I have, but it's very difficult to get them to breed in quantities sufficient to satisfy the orders from this thread alone.
And of course you are now a:

Well, SV didnt have a capacity amount for the M until it arrived, so its possible that they just wanted to put something in instead of the '?'. It does look abit wider to me, but that could be my imagination.

Tibs, didnt someone post a comparison diagram from Eleaf on your 'closed' thread?

or maybe it was here, in this thread....I cant remember :(

Before SV announced that the Ms were coming, I sent a note to Evape, asking approx. dates and prices for the M and MS.
Late last night they replied- M is on backorder and will be <$12, no date yet for the MS, but M due in about a week. Sooo...
if SV runs out, there will be options.
Good news! Thanks Gran F!

G’day there Katdarling. (Thanks for inspiring me to join up here on ecf )

So I corresponded directly with ismoka/eleaf about them.

I also asked ismoka/eleaf if they could provide me with the specifications for each tank and they sent me the below picture. The shorter GS AIR- MS is obviously the one on the left and the GS Air- M is the one on the right. Both tanks are 19mm in diameter and also interesting is that the GS Air- MS only has a 2ml capacity whereas the GS Air M has 3.7ml capacity.

Cheers from the land down under :vapor:

This may help. Looks like the MS holds 2ml, compared to the M which was projected at 3.7 (now 4mL)

Hmmmm.... My British wife has been calling me that since the days of our courtship, so I take no offense. Just hope things don't progress from
cheeky monkey to ischial calllosity.

I'm waitin on evape.us to stock these, not because their prices are lower than others, but because of the service I've gotten from them..:)

Now that's really strange. Why would they make a 2 ml tank in the GS Air series when we already have a 2.5 ml tank? That doesn't make a lot of sense.

Cruised the net looking fo rthe specs on the MS and when I found the 2 ml volume I wondered the same thing.
Bigger circumfrance possibly for asthetics on mods?

I think this is to replace the GS AIR model and its adjustable airflow failure. They could have made a new base, but maybe decided to go for a new tank instead.

Thats just my thoughts, not hard facts!!

You could be right. I noticed on the picture of the M that the airflow adjustment is different. It looks a little bit like the slider on the Kanger subtank.
