The 4/8 replaced coil in the 1st tank is still working fine today 4/11.
The 4/9 replaced coil went wonky this morning after 1 1/2 days.

It was working fine, my battery was getting low so I switched the Air to a fully charged battery. It read No Atomizer. I cleaned the contacts - they were cleaned yesterday before I put that battery away - still no atomizer. I then reseated the coil in the tank. The Istick read the tank - that problem solved.
However, the airflow - that I had not adjusted and the screw had not moved - became very tight. I opened the tank air flow all the way and that was better but it was still tight. After several vapes, the airflow loosened up and I have reset the airflow screw back where is was.
Everything seems to be working now but the flavor seems to have gone down.

What is happening with these coils?
I am vaping about 2-2 1/2 ml in each tank per day. This is more than I would typically use in tank each day (I use lots of different tanks/flavors) but I am still trying to get a feel for these.

My goal with the GS Airs was to be able to go several days, hopefully a week, perhaps 15ml, on a coil.
But so far????

Here's a pic of the tank on the Istick.

You can see the liquid is light and I am surely not at a high wattage.

This is the most trouble someone has had with these tanks that I've heard of...
I wonder if the wicks inside the coils don't shift a bit restricting airflow and then shift back allowing more air, just a guess.
Which coils do you have? Flat on top or with the chimney?

I've had that happen to me a couple times, the tight draw, not sure what brings it on but it usually loosens back up.

I don't mess with the AFC screw once it's set, I just try upping the wattage. If that doesn't help I just toss the coil and move on.

Just looked. The one in the tank pictured is a flat top. The one in the tank that is on its 3rd day has a short chimney. The 2 that went bad that came with the tanks have short chimneys. The ones in the box that I got from evape.us has a mixture of flat and chimney ones.
I did not realize there were 2 styles. Is there a performance difference between the 2?

We're trying to piece together if there is. The no-chimney ones seem to give more problems.
Reports of flooding seems to be the main complaint with the no-chimneys.

Ok, I've been lurking since the beginning of this thread and have to come clean.

I bought a GS-Air on 2/27 along with 2 packs of coils. I wanted to see what all the hoopla was about. I still think
the flavor from my Nauty's are a little better, BUT...........

I'm still using the same coil that the GS-Air came with!

So I've decided to officially convert, and quit wasting money on Nautilus BVC coils. Just ordered 2 Air-M's from GotVapes
this morning and they've already shipped.

Am now reviewing Cheechako' rebuild method and video, and just have to locate some of the top cap gauze stuff.

Oh, I can be kinda cheeky, too, lol!

Hope I can contribute here in the near future.

I think at least 2 people have ordered the coils from fasttech.com.
Do those come with the chimney? The ft photo looks like it is the one with the chimney.
