I don't know how to multi quote yet- thanks for the responses! I'll check out Lightning Vapes

There is a cool video in Tips and Tricks--it's really neat. You drag and drop (highlight and release your cursor) the quotes or parts of the quotes you want to include and hit +quote in the box that appears... Keep going till you have all the quotes you need, then hit Insert Quotes at the bottom of the reply box and all your chosen quotes will appear in a new box--follow box prompts... You can carry your chosen quotes to different threads--totally cool!

The Tibs effect was good. As soon as customs heard that name, they fell all over themselves getting the FT pseudo-ersatz Air coils into my mailbox this afternoon.
The box is either authentic or a good knockoff. The coils? smaller air channel.
Results, so far...(more once they are really well soaked, and keeping in mind that they are replacing coils with lots of ml on the odometer...)
1. Tested on a M- I usually keep the AFC ~90% closed, now I have it half open for similar air flow and vapor output. No big deal...set it and ferget it.
2. Reduced wattage from 7.8 to 6.7. Ohms read 1.5 before and after coil change, but the new coil needs lower volts/watts. Why?
3. Flavor--this is key for me-- No apparent difference after adjusting wattage and air flow.
4. Whistle? None before coil change, none after FT coil installed. For comparison, I just vaped another iStick 30 with an eleaf coil, similar watts, AFC open about 15% to 20%. No whistle, but louder air flow sound, and looser, easier draw.
Provisional verdict: Whether from habit or other subjective cause, I prefer the eleaf coils because I've grown used to the very easy, airy draw. After a few days with the FT coils, I may or may not like them just as much. For now, I prefer the eleaf coils.
Would I buy FT coils again? Too soon to say. I'll let you know in a few days.

Important edit— I had the base of the M screwed tightly into the 510 extender I normally use. Just losened it. Voilá! Looser draw, more airflow, more sound.
I'll have to fiddle around (pardon the precise engineering jargon) for a while before I can be sure if the difference between the coils is really noticeable.

I'm wondering, though, how they would vape on the original GS Airs. I'm used to keeping the airflow on them all the way open. I would imagine they won't be able to get the airflow you could get with an M.

Good question, Linda. I usually keep the GSAir about halfway open. I'll pop an FT coil in one of them and see what happens at that setting and with the screw farther out of the channel.

Most definitely a tighter draw, both at my usual setting and with the screw all the way out.
Despite that, vapor production is just fine, and the flavor is unchanged from what I'm used to. These FT coils are, unsurprisingly, quieter—an obvious result of the reduced air flow.

I'm not sure what you mean... If you don't want to quote anyone, just start typing in the reply box and hit post reply.

Thanks Katya. I understand that but I've always had my settings set at 'Read last first', so the reply box is at the bottom of my page (god forbid, that I have to scroll all the way down there!).

That busardo rant is hilarious!!
