After several several days of using my converted cap I have declared it a success. I did get it to start gurgling yesterday by accidentally closing the AFC completely and hitting it really hard. Emptied it out and rinsed it and it's good as new. So I went ahead and converted four more. This time around I tried some Devconn clear 5 minute epoxy. It is thinner in consistency than JB Weld. It needs to gel for a minute or two before applying. The first one I did ran, and I redid it with JB Quik, which as the samee consistency as the old JB Weld but sets in 6 minutes. Something else that would work would be to dip tiny pieces of gauze in the clear epoxy and cover the slots with that.
Even better yet would be to get Eleaf to make CLR caps...

Got a frankenclone Taifun and a 18350 Caravela clone, sitting next to a MS on an eGo One. Thought I'd try a real RTA. Well, it's about the same as the GS Air with a modified cap, only bigger and heavier. More vapor, sucks more juice. Hmm, makes sense! Doesn't hold as much juice as I thought it would, that tube and cap you can only fill it by taking the cap off and filling it to the top of the chimney, which takes up most of the tube. I'll get a better cap and tube. The little Caravela is sweet!
