Thanks for the thought, Lynn. Vanilla cake and I are not the best of friends... guess I'll wait six or eight weeks and eat the berries.Nicoticket's Raz Cup is very true to a raspberry flavor but it has a vanilla cake flavor to go along with it. Other than that I'm kinda limited. Sorry!
Good Morning Gran and Kiv!!

Woven or non-woven?
I really, really must go and visit Nanny in Michigan! Highs for us this week? Upper 90's...all week! I really don't do well in heat! Added to the fact is this June, not August!! Ugh!!Good Morning Airheads!!!
Another typical Michigan Saturday -- freezing, cloudy, and the promise of rain. I'm starting to get pizzy.
YAY, LYNN - my rebuilding role model! Girl, you got this.
GF- we've HAD chipmunks throughout the years - they can be very destructive and dangerous if they get into any part of your dwelling/garage. They love to chew electrical wiring and can be responsible (at least in part) for burning down everything you have. After trying harmless relocation, we switched to rat traps and peanut butter. Sorry if that offends anyone - but if it comes down to them or me dying in my sleep ..... I gotta go the other way. Looks like they must not be on the menu of the coyotes and foxes around my neighborhood. Maybe they don't taste like chicken.
This thread is always meandering!!The thread is...meandering this morning.
G'morning all

Thanks solace! Keep us posted. I'm thinking about ordering some 29g. I only have 32 at the moment and would like to see the difference and if the insulators are good, hopefully the guy will have more to sell in the future. I'll probably get some if you think they're okay when you use them.back to rebuilding...
what I've found with the 29g Kanthal.. I was wrapping 6 top wraps on a 16g blunt needle tip. they were coming out between 1.2-1.3ohms.. until I actually use them- and they drop to 1.1ohms! so next time I have a session, going to do 7 top wraps and hopefully end up where I want to be (1.2-1.3).
oh, and eBay dude made a label but still hasn't shipped- hopefully the grommets/insulators will come in *sometime* next week!
If you can't find them, I'll clean one up this weekend and take it with me to work on Monday and use the mic on it to get specific dimensions.I have every gauge but 29...been using the 30 gauge to hit 1.5 to 1.6...
I think Lynn uses 29 gauge? I think...
I have the o ring removed for my hunting excursion this morning!
I have some 28 I bought for an RTA that I don't use...need to try that in the Air coil.Cheech, I use 28 mostly but I do have 27(for the Lemo Drop), 29 and 30. 7 wraps of 28 gauge on the 16 gauge generally puts me in the 1.2-1.3 range depending on how tight I wrap and how spaced the coils are. Of course, some times I get .6. Still don't know how that happened but you'd better believe that coil will be ripped out! Wow!!

I hope so too!I will hopefully find them!
That's 'Merica! It can always be improved!I'll order a spool of 29 gauge today. Anything a little thicker has to beat the 32 that I'm using. It's okay, but I want better.
