The mini nautilus is working great on the eVic now! I think this first coil will be the one I tear apart and attempt my first vertical build, any suggestions?
Use the top lead as your negative lead so that if it touches the wall of the coil chamber it won't matter. You will need about 10 full wraps on a 2.5 or 8 wraps on 3mm to get at least .12(you may get away with 9 and 7 since the top leg has extra length). I space mine ever so slightly by springing it out. And don't put the wick inside the coil by mistake :)

Better yet...wait until it tops at your post office, then rescue it and ship it to me. It would get here faster I think.
 I shouldn't laugh. It might as well stop there.
I'll need a signature for release.

Dumb question incoming...which is the negative lead, the one that goes through the insulator that's touching the center pin or the other way around?
The other way. The positive is insulated in the middle from the rest of the coil. In D.C. circuits electrons flow from negative to positive.

Thanks! You would think, as the daughter of an electrician, I would know this!
You may need to listen to this.

I'm on #7 coil from The Baaaaad Batch of authentic eleaf monstrosities from hell. Only three more duds to go, and then I can return to coils that last more than a day or two. And for Good News, the mailman brought 7 more bottles of Derall juices today. I have lots of other juice, so these will steep for a few weeks. Ordered mostly citrus flavors this time, but to humor IMRs, I also got a dessert flavor: Strawberry Banana Crush. If it's too sweet for me, I guess I could teach the cat to vape.

:) I used to do banana for the longest time until I really got sick of it. Don't know if I can do it again.

I want to like banana, I really do but try as I might; I can't vape it.
Throw it in the blender with some really good vanilla ice cream, a few ice cubes, and whatever fresh, ripe berries are available. The banana, not the e-juice!

So...still wondering...if I get 0.15Ω TC Heads for my GS Airs...will I still be able to MTL hit???

Interesting blog on the development of Aroma WTA liquids:

Madame Psychosis Summary - Pt 1 | E-Cigarette Forum

This thread got me interested in trying WTA:

My Experience With Wta | E-Cigarette Forum

WTA is expensive...but so was smoking analogs.

WTA mg. is different from nicotine mg....so I ordered the highest WTA mg. available to "extend" it. (I have the WTA in it's own clearomizer and just do 5-10 puffs every 6-8 hours.)

Code ECF gives 10% Off.

Whole Tobacco Alkaloid WTA Eliquid Ejuice
Those are some expensive WTA liquids, but I understand your point about so is smoking. I've not tried them, but I have tried a lot of natural tobacco extracts, and love them, they keep me of cigarettes. Have you tried the NETs? If so, what brands, and how do you compare those to WTA? (which to me, is missing the things the natural extracts have, which might be better, or worse!).

True. But the convention, at least here in the US by electrical engineers, is to pretend current flows from positive to negative, i.e., "conventional flow". It's all Ben Franklin's fault I understand, he labeled positive and negative before we understood electron flow :)

Re-Wicking Update:

So I got thinking about the Wicking Sleeve that goes between the Air Head cover and the Coil. And decided to Re-Wick the Head using a 2 Ply piece of Coffee Filter Paper.

Not Good. Not Good at all. Easy to Cut and to put in. But a One Way Ticket to Dry Hit City.

So I tried doing 1 Ply of Coffee Paper Filter.

Better. But still on the Edge of a Dry Hit when doing a Back-2-Back Hit.

All the Gauze Pads I had Smelled Funky. Or had that ER Smell of Stitches and Blue Cross Cards. Didn't want to use them. And My bag of Pyramid Tea Bags seems to have gone MIA. But I got a Brilliant Idea while looking at the Remnants of my Coil Re-Wicking.

How about the "Skin" off a Cotton Pad?

Seemed to be about the right Density. And I peel off the Skin anyway when I make a Coil Wick. What the Heck. It is like 2 Bizzilion Degrees outside. Aint going to CVS in this Heat.

It was a kinda a PITA to get it in Place. Wetting it slightly helped. So did a Few Choice Words and Threats of BIC Lighter Incineration.

Got it Going and it seems to have the Right Amount of Gurgle and Popping. Not getting any Dry Hits. And will have to let it sit for awhile on a Atty Stand to see if it Floods.

But So Far, So Good.
