The new coils rock, btw. I posted a blip review of them with my GS Air MS review here (2nd page, I think):
GS Air MS... very nice starter tank or stealth vape | E-Cigarette Forum

I also posted a video review of the tank, new coils, and Mini iStick 20w here:
Eleaf Mini iStick 20W and GS Air MS review | E-Cigarette Forum

EDIT Hopefully this will embed Cloudmann's review. GREAT REVIEW FROM 2nd LINK

Click the link I provided to go to the Youtube URL and read my description to get links and discount codes.

THANK YOU

I've been looking everywhere for a review. I've tried google, youtube, crystal balls, communing with dead spirits(ok I wasn't that desperate) and I've come up pretty much empty.

I haven't watched\read your review but am going to now.

Last night whilst ordering new 1.5 coils, I would have ordered another 4 or so Ms, but I don't know how to rebuild them. I have watched what has been offered in this thread, very commendable. BUT, I need to see a video that goes from start to finish(particularly how to get the head off the coil unit without ruining it) and how the gauze wrap issue is reliably resolved, all with related english audio.

Are the Lemo 2s any good?

Hasta luego(later), ciaou

Errr....ummmmm....Well, it's kinda like this. Most this entire thread, with little massive digressions into barbacue recipes, flowers, guns, offspring, mods, batteries, metaphysics and suchlike, is one Gigantic review of the GS Air, GS Air M, and GS Air MS.

Short form|. The original air is great. Some people initially complained about the air flow screw, then most of us decided to find our sweet spot, set it and forget it.
The M: Larger capacity, minor pain to refill, a super tank.
The Ms: a.k.a., Shorty. Good stealth tank. Some people like it a lot. Same good AFC and not so good filler holes as the M. My least favorite of the three, due to low capacity, but a good tank.

Drip tips- Not the best feature of these tanks, unless you enjoy a warm to hot vape.
Change to what you like better.

The tanks are good for flavor and vapor, cheap, reliable, not bad looking.
Coils, except for an occasional bad batch (grrrrrrrr!) are long-lasting. Rebuilders seem happy. Clones work well. All of that is about the original dual horizontal coils.

PS- seems that most people who try any of the three like them a lot and buy more. Is there a more positive review than repeat purchases?

PPS: These tanks seem to attract some of the nicest, most interesting vapers in the universe and Real Life as we know it. :) :D

What he ^ said. :D
I stick to the original GSA, though, and have never had a bad coil; except for one that was without its "chimney". That one was the only one that gurgled and leaked. Mine tend to last anywhere from 1-2 weeks, but I have never tried to rebuild.

Excellent Readers Digest version, Gran! However, I was unaware people found the original drip tips too hot. I like them. At first I didn't like the M drip tip, because it's shorter, but it has grown on me and now I like it better than the original.

I love this thread but I couldn't find the info I wanted that was addressed in Cloudmann's video.

My question and what I was confused about was the new(ish) 1.2ohm coils. I hadn't bought coils in awhile and the original 1.5ohms were hard to find. I didn't know if they discontinued and clones being sold now or what to expect.

I wasn't sure if the 1.2ohm was the proper replacement for the M tank. I wasn't sure how well a single coil vertical would vape compared to the dual 1.5ohm which I really liked.

Cloudmann's video addressed that. I went through the last 60 pages trying to get an idea if the 1.2ohm was any good., if the 1.5ohm was being discontinued, ect. Someone said the new 1.2ohm leaked. I kept running in to conflicting info with no good reviews of the new 1.2ohm coil

Yep. Taste is subjective... I personally don't like the M/MS drip tip. I think it's a bit too long and I don't like that polished finish... lip gunk magnet. I use a little Jufun driptip I got off of FT for about $1.40.

I personally haven't had any issues with leaking from the 1.2 ohm coils. I'm vey impressed with them, overall and think they're a good update to an already good product.

Based on the box printings, I'd be willing to say Eleaf will keep producing the 1.5 ohm coils... otherwise, they wouldn't put that checkbox on the side. Probably some limited production right now due to them trying to build up stocks of the other coils... that's my pulled-it-out-of-the-air theory, anyhow.

Burn3d, there isn't a lot in this thread on the 1.2 ohm coils simply because they haven't been out that long. Most of us haven't even tried them yet. But give it a couple of months and I'm sure there will be a lot more. Or better yet, just try them for yourself. :thumb:

Not many people have tried the 1.2 coils yet. I look forward to your own review.

"Proper" is in the taste of the vaper. All the GS Air coils, including the tc, appear compatible with all the GS Air tanks and with the GS-tank.

I will be getting some of the 1.2 ohm coils soon, so we can compare notes and opinions.

Welcome to the funny farm!

When are you expecting your coils, Gran? Are they coming on the slow boat from China?

I get your theory but if they still had 1.5s in production when the boxes were being made, it's no big deal to put a check box for them even if you know you'll eventually not need the check box down the road.

Maybe... makes sense to continue producing the 1.5 ohm coils, though. The GS Air is a 16mm tank and lots of 16mm batteries folks are using it on might not be able to consistently fire down to 1.2 ohms. I'd guess the 1.2 ohm coils are taking front-and-center position with higher production numbers and that the original coils will continue on for a while for compatibility with more batteries... Again, kind of an out-of-the-air theory.

That's what I did. i ordered some 1.2ohms last night but I was worried they wouldn't work well or would leak and by the time they got to me I'd be out of coils. My budget right now is really tight.

ismoka\eleaf keeps putting out new products quicker than I can get use to the old ones. I appreciate all the help this board has given me the last 4 years. From a Joyetech 510 kit to an iStick 30w with all the GS Airs(except the newest one)

I almost ordered some 1.5ohms right before i watched Cloudmann's video. His video is the only review I've seen that covers the 1.2ohm coil. I spent 2 hours last night before i just gave up and ordered them but was still worried I'd end up with bad coils.

I didn't want to spend more money for the 1.5ohm and from a different vendor but I was going to just to be on the safe side. Now I feel comfortable enough that the 1.2ohm single coil will work fine.

I'm not a hobbyist as many of you here are. I do this as nicotine replacement. Sad but true

It saves me money and it is fun but I'm still on a tight budget
