You're not alone. I'm happily puffing on my standard GS coils, FOOB, and I'm quite content. I'm curious about the TC, but not yet convinced that I need/want to go there. :D

I'm a mouth-to-lung low-wattage person and I'm perfectly happy with my GS Airs, my Aerotanks and my kayfun 4.
Oooh, I took a hit off of a kayfun (V2 i think) yesterday at work... I want one....lol. But I really didn't want to get into coil builds, so we shall see.

I wonder if everyone here has done their homework on nickel coils, and that some people (maybe 10 to 20%) have allergies to nickel, and therefore may experience itching of the throat, etc, if they do have allergies to that metal? Oh of course they know all this.... I hope... :p

Regarding Nickel coils, reading the literature, seems pretty safe for the most part. The link below is interesting, though I would not consider it authoritative. See the caution about allergies to nickel. I wouldn't think this would be an issue in vaping, since apparently its a contact with the nickel that causes a reaction in some, however the nickel shouldn't break down at the low temperatures of vaping (though I wouldn't bet my life on it that some flavors, etc, could not react with the metal). It would be good to see test though, just like we see with testing of eliquids. Also it is worth noting that according to the link, some people have reported symptoms of sore thoat or itchy feeling, so its at least to be aware of this, though it may not be due to the nickel coils, could be a lot of things.

Funny. I get quizzical reactions to Vespucciland. Blame it on the German cartographer that gave our continent its name, Waldseemüller, and his map of 1507.

After some playing around I've found that the new GS tank actually works better on the eVic and the mini nautilus with a nickel coil works better on the TC istick. Oops!
Interesting Lynn! So how do you like vaping TC's with nickel coils? And how does the evic tend to hit compared to the istick? I think i read in a link here in this thread somewhere, that the istick TC puts out 40W instantaneously and then goes to temp control by monitoring the resistance during the vape and then adjusting the voltage (and thus power) to the coil. I am not sure how the eVic regulates TC.

Edit: I think you said you hadn't received your TC istick yet, so perhaps you are vaping your new coils on non TC mods?

Since I've only had my M a short time I really haven't paid much attention but I'm pretty sure the other day when it was time to refill (still a lot in the bottom) I put three shots at 1ml to fill it up.
OK, I got the tank down lower than usual to just above the fill hole and was able to add 3.5ml. Even used the big glass dropper from a 30ml Halo bottle and didn't spill any . Haven't had the chance to get something easier yet.

Yep. 4ml sounds accurate enough.

The glass pipettes are actually easier to use than the snub nosed plastic dropper bottles, oddly enough. I still think the simplest setup is the needle tipped 10ml bottle. Works awesomely.

Which Halo, incidentally? I've done Tribeca, Captain Jack, and Cordoba... they're all pretty good. I miss Bella Valente, though... they need to bring it back.
